Guys, I'm not sure whether the call centre staff made a mistake? They told me oneXOX NO international roaming??

Hmmm it's a bit confusing cuz the XOX call centre staff told me that roaming is not available at all in Canada
And he told me there will be no line... Then he said roaming is not available at all...

I called XOX again and confirmed that roaming is available for calls and text but NOT data. The partner is Canada is either Bell or Telus

Both my number MNP to OneXOX is already done. Both line is already active and I can make calls to/from both lines.
But OMG, the BIG problem now is both numbers couldn't receive SMS. And I also can't receive TAC from 2 banks....

Tried restart both phones few times also won't solve the problem icon_question.gif icon_question.gif

Called XOX call centre. After change iPhone settings **5005*7672*+60193900039# also still same problem cannot send/receive SMS

I feel lucky I done MNP earlier and not wait until last minute before going overseas..

Couldn’t manage to get any sort of TAC or security code to work with my number. Including XOX’s own Voppee also, other than banks. Really troublesome.. MNP Maxis, Digi, Celcom, Hotlink, Redone before and none gave me this big headache

I called banks and they said nothing wrong on their side. XOX telling me SMS in/out is now normal so it’s not their problem. I re-entered the same number at Maybank ATM. Doesn’t change anything.. The worst is Public Bank, if change phone number need 1 week to take effect 😱

Update : hassle still not over yet
Maybank is very fast to fix the problem. Only needed to call Maybank CS update new telco and it's fixed within an hour.

But other banks are still stuck.. HLB told me to unregister and reregister phone number thru ATM machine which I did, but still stuck. PBB CS told me it will be fixed by lunch, but now also still stuck

I wonder whether this is telco problem or bank problem.. Previously MNP so many telco never face this problem before

Using Celcom
I notice the indoor signal is lot worse than Maxis.. But well doesn't matter when I'm overseas

Btw, just info if u guys going overseas, there's a XOX subsidiary Voppee which might be useful. It's not sim based, just need to download app and new number will be assigned upon successful registration. No roaming charges at all for calls or SMS. RM0.10 per minute or per SMS. Quite useful when overseas

I just realised that my iPhone keep on stuck at 3G only while another phone also XOX can get 4G all times??? Is it need to change APN?

Kinda regret MNP to OneXOX after problem with bank TAC codes and constant 3G connection >.<

Only Maybank manage to solve TAC problem very quickly after call CS. Other banks all haven't manage to fix although I called them since this morning and followed up with another call before 5. I think I gotta go to bank branch tomorrow to get things sorted out

It's not worth the stress if plan to MNP use as main line or receiving bank codes
