Hi,FYI every RM1 top up will extend 1 day validity to your expiry date, i.e. : RM30 top up = 28 months + 30 days = 29 months

Others telco won't extend validity to expiry date where as Onexox prepaid did.

If no top up are being made and expired after 28 months,you can purchase validity as per attachment below.

You need to MNP when her line is still active, if validity finishes that means her line is in passive mode and MNP will be rejected. So do it few days before it ends.

Price for 1-2gb per month is hard to justify, but with unifi until December you get 1gb daily all purpose for free, so you just need to reload rm20 and purchase 200 minutes. Best of all, call is counted by the seconds. If you call gets diverted to voicemail and you end the call in 3 seconds, the remaining call balance left is 199 minutes 57 seconds

After free data ends perhaps you should stay with xox. Xox does not provide free data, so next year if you get notification for konfem dapat, usually 10+3gb data for rm50, that is the cheapest legal way to add more data to your season pass. Otherwise, ask your dealer if they sells data, if they offer less than rm4 per gb that is quite a deal, although that cant beat the welcome season pass at rm2.50 per gb. Unifi mobile will be expensive, rm50 for 8gb...

These telco switching is tiresome, it is ok if you stay with xox and do not take unifi, as only first time user with welcome pass is granted 28 months of validity, and that 8gb can last you until next year. However, if you use phone with dual sim card you wont need the hassle of mnp here and there. So if you are, from next year on, get hotlink 365 with rm20 10gb data, and use this sim exclusively for data. Don't make any calls as the rate is 30¢ per min which is 3 times xox call rates. Continue using Unifi or xox for calls
