Thats vague.. Whats the free part, simcard? I thought simcard already free, need to pay monthly rm10 only for 1gb and 20minutes calls.

So theres still a month+ to still get validity until they sunset it. Planning to migrate 1 my sim, currently on hotlink pantas. Pantas doesn't stack validity. I'm planning on mnp to xox, stack like 10 years of validity for sms 2fa use no need to actively reload and rebuy every year on pantas. So my q is:

How do i go about that? Buy mnp from shopee dealer, straight buy rm25 for 1 year then rebuy multiple to stack? Xox used to give 2 years free for new mnp after reload rm50, is that still a thing?

Was about to ask that too. Visited their site only showed rm48/year. Thats too expensive if to stack 10x. Oh well, staying with pantas then.

Pantas doesn't stack validity though. For sim purely for idle incoming sms 2fa its annoying to keep track every year to reload and rebuy the validity. Few years ago xox even have virtual sim that can receive sms on a dedicated app. Thats even more convenient for pure 2fa sms incoming only since no need physical phone to insert sim nor need esim capable phone. But they also sunset that. Can't remember the name, vopee or something.

Thats not true. Celcom auto upgrade my old x2 to newer x3 or burung hantu or whatever the newer plan name is back then. Made me lose the 28sen/10minutes call and 1sen sms.

Maxis hotlink also auto upgrade old pantas plan that give 30 days validity with rm5 reload to newer pantas v2 that double the reload requirement to rm10.

If people read the terms and conditions i can guarantee theres phrases like "we reserved the rights to change rate/plan at our own discretion... By registering to our service, customer agree to this terms... ". Basically allowing them to do exactly auto change plan and skmm can't do anything. Yes ppl never read the tos but ppl already auto agree to it.

Thats how literally every tos works, you agree to it by using the service. In a perfect world everyone read tos but the world is not perfect, company deliberately make it 56 paragraph long with puny size 6 fonts and ppl yolo click accept/ok/procced when tos are presented to them.
