I suggest u get a good dealer to do it for u lah, at no extra charges..

My porting out from a prepaid Telco plan ( I thought it should be easier ) failed 3 times, cos

1) when I typed " YES" ( SMS ) to reply the Telco to terminate services , my keyboard comes with an auto spacing after I typed YES , and so rejected, and I needed to call my telco to find out the actual problem. So the dealer had to do 3 times ( re apply ) for me

2) then my OTP ( from bank ) has problem also , then I was told by XOX to wait for 11 hrs, and again 48 hours, still the problem was not solved

3) later I was told ( by XOX ) to set up to accept " premium message " which my hp does not have this sort of setting, again I needed to spend few hours figuring out , and yet there was no answer for me for otp issue.

4) finally I called back to XOX, and was told I have to send one simple sms " UPDATE " to Bank Gateway Service Provider " 66xxx" , then only I can start to use OTP from my bank.

Sample of reply from gateway to me > RM0.00 MACROKIOSK: We received your request on updating your latest ported operator, thank you

I mean there is no point to do the DIY way, i.e do a smart way lah aka " outsourcing " at no extra cost

The trick is u switch to one XOX prepaid...u automatically get 28 months.......validity

then u look for " jalan " to buy some cheap data , let say buy 10GB at xx ? or pay 50 rm for a value pack with 10GB plus 333 mins call ) and park them under yr Seconal pass ( reserve ) account, which is valid for 28 months.

then u slowly transferring out 1gb ( min 500mb ) from yr seasonal pass account every month to use , so it is at 5rm a month lah at 1gb..can be even cheaper ..

It is a flexi plan...lah according to yr needs..Also got free 333 mins call standby for u for 28 months.

If do not have any data plan in force, but still on the mobile data line , then some app on your mobile app in yr phone would auto update something using your data line , so your credit money would be deducted for the data usage. My guessing only.

Even u use Waze or for incoming whatsapp messages only , data still used.

Some say XoX accounts are quite confused..more so if so many accounts created, and they are not tally with another ( DA/MA and Prepaid Balance ) ?

That may push some potential customers to think twice ..like not to buy too much data or put more money into accounts .

I have 3 prepaid XOX lines....with yr explanations, now I do not have to concern much when or whether the actual data exceeds the plans..though I do have bought lots of data/mins and parked in the Seasonal Pass and waiting to be activated .

Honestly only by using XOX ( Celcom ) then I normally can access to mobile internet data in Cyberjaya , .others such as Digi or Umobile..even though claim to provide unlimited fast data, but for some locations in Cyberjaya or Putrajaya, do not have or having very slow , internet access ....4G or not..

Last month I faced the same problem too and was informed by XOX customer service to sms " UPDATE" to ( gateway service provider ) 66300, and it works for me ( also confirmed by service provider too ) ..

U can check back before u ported out..what are the codes used by service provider when they normally sent TAC to u , like 66300 for PBB..( mine ).

50sen one time sms charge for you to get back tac confirmation , I think it is quite worth ....

Imagine u have to travel to banks personally , time, petrol and tolls would cost more than 50sen.

Whats more it takes away your frustration of waiting and waiting endlessly ..for not able to use TAC services

For those have tonnes of patience to wait, pls do not follow my method, as charges of 50sen would be incurred

Season Pass is more like a Reserve or storage Account which is valid for about 28 months from the day u activated yr XOX line....let say u have 10GB bought and park here

But in order to have internet access , u need to have a min plan like 500mb/month .. etc..so u need to convert or transfer from yr season pass 500mb to a monthly plan FAT500.

Free Fat10GB ...means XOX gives u a 10GB plan ( valid for 1month only ) to jump start..but be careful cos it is auto renew..u need to stop it ..or else comes next month ..your 10gb from season pass will be auto converted...

The other 10GB stays in Season Pass..until u feel like to use it ..can start with 500mb/month plan..

I can use Timecom portal to pay monthly bill, like wise I can use PBB portal to pay Timecom..so try Bank portal to pay INcome tax ?

It could be Income Tax locked up.. if u try many times before TAC is available ( when u just port over )

The other way is to use an existing Season Pass account ( like yours ) to transfer data to your folk Season Pass Account at 50sen per transfer . Use XOX App from google store .

Let say u buy the data in bulk, and share some with yr folks who use very little data ( transfer can also be minutes and or sms or any combination of 3 ( i.e data/minutes/sms together at 50sen ) .

IF yr banker happened to be PBB , u can sms " UPDATE" to ( gateway service provider ) 66300, and it works for me. 50sen charge for sms may apply.

The update actually is to inform Microlink ( aka PBB Gateway to update yr info into their systems )

XOX CS may not know of this unless they check with their technical support side.

Not sure about other banks as they may use other service providers for the Gateways

For CIMB , u may change at their atm machines ( maybe )
