Out of nowhere, I received two SMS today:

RM0: Successful registration. No subscription fee. Price:RM3.00/SMS .7 SMS/Week.Renewal on 1/6/2021. To cancel, send STOP GK to 36123

RM3.00. Enjoy now at http://xo.novel88.co/family/ .To unsubscribe, send STOP GK to 36123

I immediately called customer service and was informed that my account, has been charged by RM3.15.

I didn't subscribe or sent any SMS to this 36123 number, yet I was automatically subscribed to this premium service for RM3 and charged 15 sen as if I'm sending an SMS to that number. My Xox number is a backup line. Never used it to make call/SMS or give it away to anyone/anywhere.

Luckily, Onexox promised to refund my rm3 back to my account within 30 days.

Just wondering, until when la this scamming method by so called third party content provider will persists. And I also wonder if these scammers are randomly keying in people numbers or someone in onexox itself that sell out our phone numbers?

Hi, how to terminate my XOX Black account? It has been underutilized and I need to cut my cost.
