I am only using this as my spare line to receive calls. My number is valid till Nov 2019.
If I top up 50 now, does this extend my validity ?
*
yup it will extend 50 days

Anybody have experience over XOX prepaid Maybank TAC (SMS) while abroad, roaming?

Here is my experience last night
1) using M2u to get SMS TAC in Brunei. 2 TACs
2) each TAC has been deducted RM1. Total RM2
3) Only on the sim card to received the TAC (SMS), nothing else.

Isn't the first time bumping into "charging on received roaming SMS" with XOX. I encountered with 'premium SMS' I received at another New XOX line that I didn't subscribed to......XOX refunded it.

However, for this case, it is voluntary request bank's TAC so I wana know whether it was charged as Roaming SMS received or not?
As I aware, others telcos did not charge such? amyrite?
Anybody can advise on such, or have similar experience with m2u roaming TAC? TQ
*
no charges when i abroad in vietnam sg jpn and aus.

OneXOX cannot receive TAC from Boost. why? tried 20x. can received TAC from Boost on Unifi Mobile number, but not OneXOX. am im alone? Called xox customer service, she said, should be able to receive TAC from any number since they do not block. she asked me to call Boost. But if i call boost, for sure, they will ask me to call xox since cannot receive TAC from xox only. so...
*
its not just u, contact both side made a report on both side see how it goes. i think is xox problem. xox is worst in receiving tac code. Never improve

Some Onexox users do have this problems of receiving TAC from Boost even after several months.

And port out after this TAC problems have not been solved after calling Onexox customer service.

And ending up losing some customers. cry.gif Should be taking actions to solve this TAC problems seriously.
*
they called me just now, they say got nothing much can do. ask me to call boost. i ask them why unifi mobile can receive tac code but not xox. and they insist to blame boost, ask me to call boost to solve this problem.

what a good reply from them.

they test they also say ok. but in fact not all xox customer able to receive the sms. they cant ignore those who cant receive the sms and told their customer that they got nothing much can do. if other telco can receive why not xox? what make xox so special to always have tac problem. their reply really unprofessional and hope they will improve in the future.

So cannot solve the problem of Boost OTP not received?
*
QUOTE(xinaixin @ Jun 19 2019, 09:56 PM)
I also have 2 Onexox prepaid that can't receive the Boost OTP. cry.gif

Hoping that Onexox will take note and make improvement by solving this problem.

QUOTE(adiwarna @ Jun 19 2019, 10:40 PM)
Have u report to customer service?

I have problem receiving uob otp before but problem solved. Follow up until success
*
in the end boost called me today and give me the otp code instead. xox side is pretty useless, they just say they cant do anything. I had never face a telco like this, maybe it just a virtual mobile operator.

so in the future i think i cant simply logout my boost account if not, i have to wait boost to call me and provide me the otp.

for those who cant get otp from boost, kindly make an enquiry through boost email or fb. no need waste ur time to contact xox. they are not willing to help u and blame the issue to others. tq

You might get the wrong/inexperienced cs personnel

Try another time time to get another person to entertain your issue

What ! OMG ! Inexperienced Onexox customer service at 12273 ?  bangwall.gif

Doesn't they were trained with knowledge and passed as customer service personnel before answering calls from customer ?

Even trainees on the job should consult with experienced personnel before giving an answer, that's my experience with other telco when call their customer service.

their call in customer service in term of engaging to solve user problem are pathetic..favorite word..we will check ... and no zero zilch follow up with customer.. and customer care feedback through email uses canned answers...i provide them with all the necessary info for them to check still all seem blur...
*
when they say "we will check" , you must get a report number from them. they cant run away if u file a report. If they dont give u report number, tell them u need it to file a complain to mcmc. Be a smart consumer.

I wana get advise on using xox prepaid as my car gps tracker.

1) anyone have similar experience of using the same? I wana use xox probably due to its long 28 months validity. Save cost.

2) If yes,how about using the car gps tracker overseas? Like in Singapore for example. Is it possible??

TIA
*
1) use unifi mobile cheaper as gps tracker use less data, unifi data can carry forward indefinetly as long as u use it ( 3month)

2) not possible, roaming charges applied

Does purchase of a 12 month validity start from the day you buy it or does it extend from your expiry date. I know Digi one year starts from the day you buy so I have to wait for the last minute to apply. I hope XOX is more user freindly and extend for the expiry date.
*
it will just stack up

Guys, enlighten me please.

When I MNP, I get 28 months right... so if I buy voice 999 minutes for RM90, I get 999 minutes to use for whole 28 months?

yes

One more thing... if I shared data, minimum is 1gb? And how long is the validity for the 1gb for the receiver? How about voice?
*
minimum 500mb i think?

You're lying...

I really hate onexox kept spamming sms for season pass. Since I had my son smartwatch connected to both me and my wife, 3phones and 1 smartwatch will surely ring whenever there's  SP happy hour.

QUOTE(Oppa.OneXOX @ Sep 18 2019, 05:15 PM)
Hello there,

If I'm not mistaken, the happy hour sms notification received is somewhat based on our previous purchase history. and current network load. Not everyone will receive it. Balancing the act is not easy as there are also many other customers who complained that they were not notified of happy hour offers ...

If you're bothered with the notifications then I suggest that you call CS @ 12273 and request to remove the desired numbers from happy hour notification list.

Thank you.
*
agree with oppa, use to be receive sms from xox but after calling customer service i got no promotion sms anymore.

After see so many comment and feedback seem like the otp issues is a unsolved problem for xox.

I park one number in xox due to it long validity and thinking to port in my main digi line to xox as well since long validity is more important than data for me as I have unlimited unifi air data with me.

My digi main line is to receive otp. I cannot imagine if one day need perform transaction or other task in either Malaysia or oversia but stuck with otp.

LOL. I guess will just stick to digi to avoid problem. Hope xox will look into this matter seriously. This will limit user as long as it remain unsolve. Regardless of sms gateway or whatsoever, xox need to find a way to solve it and not put the blame on others if they want to growth telco business.
*
dont think they will. i think only few customer got no issue with otp. they will just blame 3rd party (sms provider) instead of thinking a way to fix this issue.

Can the XOX eSim be used in iPad Pro 10.5 (2017)? It also supports eSim but not listed as supported device in the list.

I'm currently having OneXOX prepaid. This plan cannot MNP to eSIM? Does the eSIM have Season Pass? I only want to subscribe to 500mb/monthly data.
*
afaik xox prepaid cannot change to esim. dont know why.

Hi, I cannot get OTP from XOX while try to register Boost. This is a new e-sim I just get yesterday. What is the problem?
*
keep trying, it is common that xox cannot receive tac from 6 digits number. if u give up then just find boost customer service they will help u.
