rm18 data sounds tempting but how long does this last? is it they get you hooked first, then later they revert to rm40+ monthly at some point?

well maybe u r right. not worth worrying as even if that's the case, can simply switch to postpaid or whatever, once that deal is ended.

for myself i got the rm50 data and using that on auto subscribe, since i barely use data though i still need it. hopefully 500mb is enuff to last a month laugh.gif i just on/off as needed sweat.gif

How to buy validity? When click in app it crashes.

As for data, if u subscribe the 2gb rm5, it will consume ur season pass afaik.

Last time u subscribe to season pass data, but now is different. Only found out visiting forum here

for my season pass got unused voice. how to subscribe to that? o-O; ?

for data just subscribe to the 2gb rm5, that worked. but not sure about voice.

is talk time useless? cause the talk time in my season pass feels like cant be used.

when i want to make call, all that matters is if u got credit in ur balance, e.g. top up rm10 and u make a call it deducts from that.

so whats the point of talk time? i originally thought thats same as topping up to make calls, hence i purchase season pass that had talk time on it at the time. now feels like a waste (should have just stuck with data only season pass)

At least with data, that one i can subscribe and use from my season pass for internet activities on the go.

i was calling lotus customer support. their numbers on their site.

no big deal, i had to top up rm10 then can make the call. end of call it cost about 30-50 cent or something. still i initially thought voice was to make it calls, but seems useless. i still had to top up rolleyes.gif

the customer support was explaining it, but i cant hear too well the reason she provided other than i had to top up to make my call sad.gif

bru, if that rumored validity become a thing, id have to move elsewhere. i think there r cheaper yearly validity? didnt someone here mention hotlink? even the rm 40 ish price change is still ok for me. but not the other rumored one, yikes sweat.gif i did top up my validity but i dont dare top up too much cauz u donno if the company flop or not later laugh.gif

confused about the promo.

they said top up as low as rm 10 to get free validity up to 730 days (days to years basically is 2 years free validity)

so i topped up rm30, but my 2028 still remains up to then. so what gives? or did i misunderstand how this promo worked?

i called and ask, basically they say this promo only for NEW prepaid user. sigh... rolleyes.gif


for old users, is there any promos for buying the validity? or should i just pay the default rm48 for the 1 year validity now?

Yeah i realize the best time to have done this was before the price hike for the yearly validity. should have stacked back then when cheaper but i forgot sweat.gif

just curious,

for this new prepaid vs old.

in the old for data, you buy the data e.g. happy hour get data + talk time.

From the data, you can then subscribe to the lowest which is 2gb each month data. Then can have it auto renew, or you can manually do each month (but is a hassle to do this). I don't know what speed but i didn't particularly have issues with it.



As for the new prepaid, 1x-18 cheapest for rm18 is 6 Mbps unlimited, but gets throttled once u hit the 100GB cap is goes to 512 Kbps.



So for this new prepaid, i think u said that if u don't pay for the monthly data, basically data cannot use?

Then what about if you buy say happy hour for data. Can you then apply for like the 2gb per month subscription like the old prepaid can?

And how do you go from an old prepaid to the new prepaid without changing phone number, is that possible?

But seems like it might not be worth doing that for users like me that barely use any data. Or at least the 2gb auto renew each month is more than sufficient. And like the happy hour for Rm 30 you get 28gb of data, which is about 14months worth of data if subscribed to 2gb on auto renew.

That seems much cheaper than the rm18 new prepaid for data ya? i mean rm18 monthly quite cheap already, but if can cheaper if not use much data, why not? laugh.gif

Based on this, i get that season pass is a feature no longer available for new prepaid for onexox. So sounds like the carry forward for the data, sms, talktime also no longer a thing? does it then expire after not using it after certain period? Cause seems like it's switched to a monthly subscription deal, so they don't count it that way anymore.

the more i read the more it seems like the low data users would be better off with the old prepaid (assuming you dont care about any speed throttle limitations they set. i dont mind, cause it just works for what i need it to) sweat.gif did they say whether they will terminate the old prepaid at any point later for the old users? hmm.gif

So i just checked seems mine got auto upgraded to the new one-x doh.gif

but my data subscription is set to the auto renew 2gb monthly. but it says will end on dec. so not sure if it will auto renew in january or not. because they mention for the new one-x plan you are basically terminating all your talk time, and data there isn't it? shocking.gif


i noticed can purchase the buy data from the happy hour. guess i'll just monitor for now. But i remember correctly last time i disable the auto renew, the options got limited to whatever was available. so i'll just contact support if a problem does occur then. anyway wish i had noticed sooner cry.gif


or does anyone have any advice what to do? ideally i rather just retain the old prepaid. because i want to buy data via season and subscribe to 2g data, since based on price it's all i really need. i don't think there any significant advantage for the new prepaid plan is there? sweat.gif

i check the change to other plan, there is option for black, siswax, or prepaid (downgrade).

but seeing as i can still buy season pass, and the 2gb data auto subscribe still works, guess i'll keep low for not till it doesn't work. but it does say my account is on the Onexox - prepair (One-X) which afaik is the new prepaid?

donno if the season pass and your sms/data all that gets deleted beginning next year or something?

slight correction. in the reward, u have to select from the pulldown, your number, then the thing will appear. just a very slight correction but important nevertheless. or people will be confused why is blank. i know cause i recently and noticed an expired promo i did not notice sad.gif

the thing is, i got spammed by so much onexox sms mostly about ads that i got desensitized to it. so when something actually important got sms, i didn't notice cry.gif

but still... port out.... to whom? any telco? then port back in after 30?

problem with this, if u change telco example, onexox to hotlink, then your phone number for banking even if u retain the same number, will no longer work for things otp or sms. You will have to phone your bank, to inform them the switch of telco. I know, because i did this before, though i was moving from another telco to onexox at the time.

with this in mind, for myself, not worth the hassle and headache. But if others want to do it, then go ahead hehe.
