Turns out the CIMB Preferred Visa Infinite is not exactly UNLIMITED GREEN MARKET as advertised.

Been using for four times at GM KLIA2 and now the 4 entrances has been completely used up.

https://www.cimbbank.com.my/en/personal/pro...a-infinite.html

"Complimentary access of up to 4x per annum to all Plaza Premium Lounges in Malaysia, and unlimited access to The Green Market, Singapore Changi International Airport and selected airport lounges across the region."

Maybe they meant GM in Singapore only?
*
The unlimited access only applies to
Singapore Changi International Airport (Green Market only) & some of the regional lounges where CIMB has presence in that country eg Indonesia.

Yes. Heard few reported already. It's a pretty common practice in overseas, so that you will be reminded and won't miss flights. I don't think they will do the same here. laugh.gif

iianm, all other ppl elsewhere are located airside....so all customers are travellers...so it is not really necessarily to check the boarding pass....ppl klia did not in the past when i went...

gateway and gm in klia2 are the only ones i know located landside...which enable non travellers to use as well...and i have questioned the policy and potential abuse of previleges before...expecially those with unlimited entry cards...

so i suppose this is a welcome development...so some control can be enforced, and hopefully the banks will not withdraw the benefits...

If in Malaysia, then can try to sign in with another principal card.

AmBank WMC, VI are the best now as it is unlimited.
Anyway, since you need another principal card, then can just simply apply AEON cards too.

just to report that during my trip last month, i maximise 4 cards to gain entry for 2 adults + 2 kids.

used 1 cimb for myself, 1 ambank for 1 kid, 1 ambank for the other kid, 1 ambank sub card for the last adult.

fortunately no charges.

Depends on the person manning the counters. Most of the time my kids enter for free... unless they look like already start schooling.

p/s: "Most of the time" means so far they have not charged. My eldest is 5yo.

Green Market @ KLIA2's got a new menu, but their portion has become much smaller for free meals with credit cards -- smaller bowls, and the chicken salad has more than halved in terms of serving.

Service is still very good though.

Technically not allowed but Malaysia PPL is pretty cool about it. So you can sign two principal cards under your name and bring in another guest. smile.gif

I tried this twice, once last year August and once this year May.

Last year ok no issue, this year the counter person say cannot, same name card only can use once.

I flying again next week, anyone tried successfully recently?
