Not worth spending the time (and hassle), just stay in T4, unless you have 4-5 hours!

Btw, T2 officer told that I can only enter into transit area from T2, if it was validated by AA counter (in T4).
I believe probably a stamp on your boarding pass, and of course you need to have minimum 2 hours.
Transferring between T4-T2 from public area is WAY FASTER than internally.
You may explore this option next time.

Besides, why is CX flying from T4?
Can't understand...
*
Cx moved into t4 when it opened....will probably be temporary, until T5 opens in 10 years time....

If I fly aa from t4, I will try see if I can get them to allow me to enter via T2 and use tgm....

Going to transit in Changi next week. PPL is in T1, T2 and T4 as far as I know. How about TGM ? Is it better than PPL ?

Can AmBank and CIMB VI get into TGM and which terminal ?  hmm.gif
*
Ppl are in T1 and t4....tgm is in T2....

Like tgm in klia2, the T2 tgm is a public access restaurant....not lounge....but the set meal is very good.... including sushi....

If I want a rest and shower, i use the T1 ppl....if just short transit and a good meal, is use tgm.... ambank vi/wmc can enter....

Have not used the t4 blossoms ppl yet....

Anybody know whether luggage can check through with domestic MAS to international Oman Air overnight?

https://www.omanair.com/en/about-us/press-r...el-connectivity
*
As long as there is an interline agreement, you can tag your bags through.... whether they will depends....

Stations in Malaysia will willingly take the extra trouble to link your bookings and tag your bags through, and within the oneworld group, issue boardings passes as well....

This is not always the case with other airlines from other airports....tk has refused to from IST, and surprisingly qf too, on transit at sin to mh.... although both are oneworld....they just don't want to take the extra 30s to key in your onward flight to link up....

Mh-oman via kul should not be a problem....

There are not many banks that allow supplementary cardholders to have independent access to lounges....

Ambank and rhb stands out.....

Citibank allowed it as well.

The Citibank website is silent on this....in fact the prestige card comes with priority pass only for the principal card...

Maybe the front page can be updated with this information...supps with access....

PBB Vs too.
*
The main problem with pbb is that access is combined, for all cards by principal and supp....and only max 3 times....

Vs only 2 times....if you get a supp for wife, and both enter once, your quota for year gone!....if you have supps for parents/children, no use already....

That to me is a pretty useless card for lounge purpose....

I guess, if supplementary card is entitled, it will use the quota of principle , no matter which bank ?
*
No....

Ambank cards each 5 entries.... signature cards all unlimited....

Rhb cards each 5 entries....but since I don't have supp, perhaps best confirm with the bank....

Regarding Supp card access to lounge, only Ambank and PBB stated clearly in their T&C.
For the rest, I can't find any related info.

For Ambank, EACH Principal and Supp card holder is eligible for 5x entry (ie for VI)
If you have both VI and WMC, you have 5+5 entry

For PBB, Principal and Supp card are pool together for total 3x entry (ie for VI)
Worse still, total entry remains 3x if you have both VI and WMC

RHB, I heard a few times for Supp card, but can't find any info from their website.
Are they having separate or combined access (ie x5 for VS)?
Citibank, first time, please share more info. Thanks!
*
Rhb 5x each card....so I have 5+5 with Vs and wmc....

Tried 1+1 at the same time with the same lounge at Heathrow with VI and WMC. Declined. Can only use 1.
*
That is consistent with the ambank guideline of one entry per person per day....

However, it's not consistently enforced...both BNE and klia allowed the use of the 2nd card to bring in a guest recently....

But you still have 5+5 total entries....

Not really... if you have VI and WMC, you can use VI in Airport A; WMC in Airport B, on the same day.
Ie. KL (A) - Sg (B) - Sydney
or KL - Sg / Sg - KL (same day return)
Yea, it depends on individual PPL / receptionist.
Some just close an eye because they want more business.
That's why try not to use 2 cards from same bank.
*
Based on the guideline, you cannot do that either....but if you use different cards in different lounges the same day, you will get away with it....

Actually, other than for the signature cards, it doesn't matter anymore as it's now restricted to 5/year and rm500 spending....so if you want to use up your entitlement quick, up to you....so I don't see ambank being anal with this....

Just wonder when they will tighten down on their real premium customers....the priority banking signature card holders....

The food in Changi tgm is definitely better than in klia2.... although tgm klia2 food is better than any ppl....the ppl Aerotel I must say is disappointing....

The best ppl in Msia foodwise is probably the pen one....with a wide range of ala cart menu....

The worst is wellness spa in klia2....

Dinner?...ok....I left at 5pm....and the other time, entered at 11pm....really no good food....

Appears not evenly consistent in menu throughout the day....

Will still process to Wellness spa and walk long way back to there for boarding

Aerotel is quite good, only been there once couple weeks ago. Reached there at 5.30 a.m., can request for freshly cooked breakfast from the chef. I enjoyed my time there.
*
Space wise, it's much bigger than the gateway lounge....

Looks like you get better food only during certain hours....both times there was in between meal times, and the menu was restricted....

And one more point: there's no shower there, but you can use the shower at gateway....tell the reception and they will let the gateway staff know....

l was denied entry for 2 persons using two AEON credit cards at Aerotel, KLIA2 on 26/09/2018. The PPL staff said l could not use two same bank cards at the same time and also this is applied for all the banks cards. l also checked with PPL near Gate L, KLIA2 and was told the same rule.

Anyone faced the same situation? l had entered  Aerotel before using 2 AEON cards for 2 persons in April 2018. What an embarrassment as l argued with Aerotel staff!

QUOTE(skty @ Sep 30 2018, 05:03 PM)
last time can.
now cannot.
so, use one card from each bank at one time.
*
That was the understanding, but it appears not all lounges got the memo....

Managed to get a guest in with the 2nd card at BNE and then klia ppl just a month ago. ..

yup. use different cards if you want to enter 2x..... now they thigten their rules, you cannot even sign your wife/partner in using your other cards, as they check the name on your card vs your boarding pass
*
I don't think it matters if the guest you are trying to bring in is your spouse....no guest, full stop....

They still allow signing in a guest with another bank's card....

Wonder if they will enforce that too....no match boarding pass and card, no entry ....no guests full stop....

Unless pay lah....

Hi, wondering if passenger for domestic flight can access to the PPL in Penang (located at the international departure hall)? intend to use citi premiermiles visa there smile.gif
*
There are 2 separate ppl in pen, domestic and international....if you have a cc they entitles you entry, you can use either, depending on your flight....if you are flying domestic, use the lounge on left after security.....

Citi premier miles is valid only for Klia.....
