Near Aerotel at departure area.

Two different types of food, one is set and another one is buffet style.
I was at this PPL because of early flight. At least it's much better than Wellness Spa.
*
I still can't find this ppl. doh.gif Is it anywhere near to Wellness Spa? I'm really dislike wellness spa as it's getting overcrowded and food is really bad over there.

Nowhere near Wellness Spa. It is before immigration at departure area, somewhere in level 2 if I'm not mistaken. Just ask the information kiosk will do.
*
Oh, its the one on level 2 even before the security check near the luggage check in counters?

Departure level is at level 3, you will need to go down one level, it is at 2M.
*
Alright. Thanks. I thought there is a new PPL near departure side. This PPL would require one to leave early to queue up at security cp, then immigration then security again before departure gates. sweat.gif I suggest at least leave half an hour earlier.

Correct me if I am wrong.

Wellness Spa is Airside. That's after security.

Aerotel is outside or Landside. I think 2M.
*
Yup. Aerotell is outside near the shopping areas. Before you even get through first security checkpoint.

I think last time with Priority Pass, you can get into Flight Club. So how does Flight Club compares with PPL in KLIA?
*
You could still get in flight club with Priority Pass now. Flight club is better in the sense that it is less crowded. Food quality is better but not so many choices compared to PPL. Place is smaller and chairs are restaurant like chairs, not so comfort to sofa type available in PPL. Overall, I would still prefer PPL in KLIA compared to Flight Club, unless PPL is already full.

Does Flight Club have showers? Great for late overnight flight.
*
They have toilets but no shower. For showers you have to go for PPL. Btw, both PPL and Flight Club are operated by the same operators. So if you swipe in to enter PPL and find it too full, you can request for switch to flight club.

Yes. There is more. Travel Insurance. You don't have to use it to buy air ticket to get insured by MSIG, unlike other card. As long as you used it once while overseas, you are covered. Been there, done that.

And for purchases overseas, you get 15 or 30 days coverage on the item. Luckily, never have to do that yet.
*
This would be a selling point. FD rates are board rates though. Never heard SC had any promo rates for FD, like all foreign banks.

The Citibank website is silent on this....in fact the prestige card comes with priority pass only for the principal card...

Maybe the front page can be updated with this information...supps with access....
*
For CitiPrestige, access is only through Priority Pass which allows only one access at a time, meaning principal card holder only. Priority Pass wasn't provided for my supplementary card.

I don't deny Citibank CC is pretty useless compare to other CC in term of lounge access.
Besides, I think there is no designated card for Citigold (priority) customers.
Some Citigold still remain using their 20 years GOLD card  sweat.gif

Hence you can't complain too much in term of Prestige vs VS
Prestige comes with AF RM1k!
Not sure Citigold will offer auto-waiver...
*
Yes. Prestige comes with a non negotiable rm1k annual fee but could be waived through points accumulated by spending. To qualify for it, you need to spend around RM200k per annum to accumulate enough points for waiver.

On a side note, Prestige give you a free ride home using KLIA Executive Limo.
Premier Miles give free ride home using KLIA Budget Limo.

Consider worthy if you use the free ride home monthly.
*
Yes. Plus a whole list of benefits like exclusive invitation to events, launches, movies, dinners etc. Executive Limo rides are with Nissan Sylphy and Renault Fluence. You still get the occasional Perdana but that one I sure reject because those cars are in very bad shape. laugh.gif

the only good perk for prestige is the fourth night free....
200k per annum spending on a Maybank 2 premier can give u a return first class sq ticket to Europe alr, and free of annual fees, that’s alone worth much more than what’s the prestige offer
*
Wow.. Thanks for the info. First class SQ ticket to Europe costs at least Rm20k. Do you have any links to this?

I wonder if PPL in Malaysian airports are strict? For e.g, I have few different cards with PPL access. Can I swap 2 of my cards in order to bring my friend in together as well?

Heard ppl talked about doing this before but I have yet to try this
*
It used to be ok previously. Now you would need different cards from different banks to access. This is confirmed for both KLIA and KLIA2 ppls. That is why you need to apply for credits cards from different banks in order to bring your more people in. rclxub.gif

Not just KLIA. Heathrow also.

Usually PPLs in foreign countries are quite strict with admission. That is why you dont see their lounges overcrowded like pasar with people like in KLIA and KLIA 2. laugh.gif

May be not many people in foreign countries have the privileges to own a high class card that allowed PPL entries....
*
You could actually pay to get Priority Pass if you travel a lot. But a lot of people here expect free entry through credit cards.

For PremierMiles only from KLIA to KL/PJ area I think.
The normal counter where you charter budget Limo? There's a Citibank counter, if nobody is there, just go to the normal counter.

Not for KLIA2, for KLIA2 can get SCB WM but only one ride per month while Citi PM is unlimited.
Yes, per card.
*
SCB WM can use at KLIA2? I know that you can claim up to RM80 for limo ride out of KLIA or KLIA Express, but ride can be claimed at KLIA2?

Exception would be shower if you needed one.

Right about that. And you can relax in the lounge while waiting for your flight. No need to 'roam' around aimlessly, lying on the floor (it regularly happens at KLIA2). And the best, when flight is delayed, I just walk back into the lounge informing the counter staff my flight was delayed.

There is no limo ride from KLIA2. So taxi ride can claim with SC?

12 am to be exact at KLIA 2. If KLIA, its 24 hours. If you are at KLIA 2, then no choice have to sleep on the floor and wait for AA to compensate you with a cold, hard burger with a bottle of mineral water later . laugh.gif
