Boarding pass is required for all now. In fact, other PPLs also started to ask. I used my AmBank card in KLIA PPL in end of Oct and was asked for boarding pass to be scanned.

I'm suddenly asked for last minute business trip, a short trip to Brunei on Tuesday, ticket is not booked yet by our travel desk, so not sure which airlines/airport yet. Feel like trying FC if I'm in KLIA, worth for it?

Every time I'm in KLIA, I will be torn in between. At the end, sure still go to PPL.

Yeah, next time should try GL too if I fly MH since CIMB gives me free vouchers or if I fly in business class.

I will ask for this in my next trip. More likely I will be travelling with AA this round to Brunei and it is a super early trip, I don't think I will be able to make it to PPL before my flight. Since we will have meals purchased, that's fine with me. I will try GM when I touch down KLIA2.

In your statement? Good for you then but they have the rights to charge you once they noticed it.
It will not be charged at the counter, bank will charge you.

Yes, because all out entries are chargeable. Banks will pay straight to PPL. PPL will just see the eligibility of your card and let you in. Though I was told you can ask PPL staff to check the balance. I have never asked before.

No la. It's a normal practice in overseas PPL.


I totally forgot company travel agent booked me under Premium Flex which I'm entitled for free access to AirAsia Red Lounge. I only remembered it before plane took off just now. Next time then if I fly in AA on business trip again... Else I can check it out and without going to this miserable small PPL.

Well, up to the staff. So far Malaysia PPL is fine, I asked before in PPL KLIA. Many have tried for different PPL in Malaysia and so far OK. These days just need valid boarding pass as well.

I'm at GM, KLIA2 now, just touched down. Used my AEON card as I think I have exhausted my AmBank for this year, don't want to take the risk. Boarding pass is needed.

Yes, you will have boarding pass from your departure country to KL right? That's the one.

The portion used to be larger and one meal can share with two but now sufficient for one pax. For me, it's more than enough for me.
