For all fixed price funds, the distributions are calculated monthly with monthly minimum balance and credited on yearly distribution date?

So in this case if I deposited for 5 months and withdraw everything due to emergency before the distribution date, we are not entitled to any distribution?

So if we still have minimum amount in the fund, we need to wait until distribution date to get the distribution?

And if we withdraw everything before the distribution date, we will get pro rated according to which distribution rate (last FY or upcoming FY)?

Trying to clear these doubts to know whats going on in the event of emergency blush.gif

Banks usually stop ASX giving out no. at 3-330PM. I have got lucky at 4PM before. If ASNB mabe 430? I don't know as never went to ASNB before.

Since AS1M will only be open for transaction on 4/10, does this means the minimum monthly balance date for October starts from 4/10?

Not sold by ASNB. See their returns also want to make me  cry.gif
Maybe if my dividends are high enough just nibble out RM1-2k/year and bring it some where? After all, cheahcw2003 did say that RHB Islamic Bond Fund (UT with 0% SC if bought via FSM) gives 7.x% yearly without fail for 10 years+ already.

I know you are anti UT but since this is free, might be worth a look for you.

For RHB Islamic Bond, you need to take note that it is not suitable for funds which you will be need in emergency within a year.

As there will be a redemption charge of 1% of the amount you withdrawn if the fund you invest is less than a year

Sure bo?

I got a lot of funds need some place to invest...fund size definitely 50times more than your 4 digit AS1M ✌️️
*
Yes, RHB Islamic Bond have 10 years annualized return 7% as per fund fact:

https://www.fundsupermart.com.my/main/fundi...d-Fund-MYRHBIBF

You just need to be aware that the fund is advised to be invested at least a year to avoid the 1% redemption charge

otherwise this fund has neither any sales charge nor any platform fee smile.gif

Any idea the quota for which fixed fund is more for non-bumi?
*
Axcording to their prospectus:

Only ASW has quota, bumi:non-bumi limit ratio is 51%:49%

Asm and as1m open for all

Incorrect for AS1M
50% is for bumi, 30% for Chinese, 15% for Indian n bal for others

Where do you get that info, I can't seem to find it inside their prospectus notworthy.gif

I fully understand your financial constraints

not to say constraint la biggrin.gif

just beginning, and they are still not as flexible as eGIA laugh.gif

so trying to do monthly instead of lump sum to minimize the emergency needs to withdraw from them sweat.gif

seeing all these instruments made me kinda regret why didn't I have the financial saving and investment instinct younger cry.gif

QUOTE(nexona88 @ Sep 28 2016, 05:05 PM)

I presume tat Affin branch brings u gud luck
*
May be because affin is the nearest to my office and when i try to open asnb account (create customer account without needing to have unit first), at least they help to proceed unlike cimb which say cannot handle and pos office which they claim no unit for whole day sweat.gif
