Accompanied a friend to do her ASB and ASM topup at PNB office. Enquire with the staff and they're very keen on pushing the new ASx products and said non-bumi shares in ASM/ASW difficult to get.

Just curious - is the quota specific race based or just simply bumi/non-Bumi? Any sources to see the actual allocation percentage ? 🤔

What about ASM? Didn't see any such allocation on page 1, so it is open for anyone without limitation ? I am sure they still have data on actual ownership of the units, right?

i didnt find any recent news, but i now there were some reserved units for the various groups, and their chief did want to free up the unused bumi and indian reserve units.
“I was made to understand that the 999 million new ASM units offered to the Chinese community had all been bought at exactly 12.17pm on April 22,” he said today at the Malaysia Unit Trust Week 2009 here.

The new ASM units which totalled 3.33 billion were offered for sale on Apr 21.

In contrast, Muhyiddin said that of the 499.5 million units reserved for the Indian community, only 111.43 million were sold as of 12pm on Friday while of the 1.665 billion units allotted to Bumiputera, only 13.93 million units had been taken up.
“I would therefore like to call on the Indian and Bumiputera communities not to let go of this good investment opportunity and grab the ASM units still available to them,” he said.

No worries. Got paper trail and money small amount only. Student ma. Mana ada RM50k+ FD one.   

Managed to grab RM3300 for ASW2020. I suspect that's more available. Broke liao.
