ASW 6.3%...godsend rate compared to current FD

4 only lah... no more $$$ lepas dapat beli earlier in the week.

No more bullet...

Fierce competition next week.      Anyone who wants to go hunting nxt week better prepare themselves mentally this weekend 

Auntie twinkle will only top up a bit to 'tidy up' the total number. Hopefully 30 mins to 1 hour camping is enough.

Advantages for those with personal connection.

Very happy as long as it's above 5% and above current Fd.   

Need to wait till the financial report ready.
For ASD, there is o carry forward announced as well, so need to wait for the report

As by today, I'd say my ASW top up plan is subject to changes as I may lock the $$ at dividend stocks with capital appreciation. (if I'm lucky).

Placing in ASX FP is a 12mths commitment. Dividend stocks are a good alternative for regular 3-6mths returns.

Still have some tiny % in FDs with Affin & HLB maturing next year but will not touch it now as it was locked in at decent rate.

Will know by Monday if i'm joining the mass hunters/ huntresses on 1/9/16.

if i everyday go to PNB to queue for top up, are they welcoming us. ......
i went to RHB, one of the staff said system down tak boleh top up.... really another oscar award as the person didn;t bother to check and say system down ..

Where got financial freedom... my target to put in asw and asm is not high la. Still need work for living lagi..

I am new in the investing world. Few days i came across this ASG fund and i opened an account as the agent mentioned that the dividend is constantly at 7sen/unit every year, which sounds good enough to me.

However after further study i realized that the unit price drops every year although the dividend maintains the same.

Can anyone correct my understanding if im wrong and what are the pros and cons of investing in this fund. Is it a worthwhile investment?

Got... but cannot generate enough income for me yet...

Phew luckily i did not invest much in it yet, i just bought 100 units in order to open the account. Guess i wont be investing anymore in ASG then.

On the other hand, any funds to recommend? I know it depends on individual appetite but i would like to just have an idea of what a "good" fund is like. I heard kenanga fund gives very high returns. Thoughts?
