what movement is in that hublot?
was it serviced locally? if so, got complain to the swiss hq instead?
*
HUB4100 chronograph

sent back to hour glass all the time so i'm not sure if it was sent directly to Switzerland or they just settle with their in house watch technicians

everytime ask them "so what was the problem?" they also can't answer me.

hmm so its just a valjoux 7750.
cant be that hard to service since its a common movement.
if its no more under warranty, maybe just bring it to a place like TSC in amcorp.
*
tbh i don't actually understand wtf all the movements are about. as long as got chronograph i happy liao lol.

i not from KL cry.gif cry.gif

next time it freezes again then i only figure out what to do liao. hopefully it won't lar

i got ask the price before, but i remembered it was like 20k more expensive than the one i wanted sweat.gif

QUOTE(Everdying @ Mar 23 2017, 11:18 PM)
means its just a common swiss movement renamed...its not in-house at all.
i think u should just write a complain letter to the hq.

what rubbish is that from hublot that they cant answer u? didnt the form state what kinda repair was done?

basically some logic la...if it was done locally maybe u get it back within a couple weeks...or since u sent via hour glass maybe 3 months.
since its a common movement, i would assume its also done locally.
*
like that i'll find back all those service receipt numbers and refer to them when writing my complaint letter next time lah..

nope the form didn't say anything, i didn't have to pay anything also, just give back and goodbye

Hi Bro, can you give more details on what happened to ur watch very sad to hear. However, I might be able to connect you to a acquintance from Hublot, as he is in baselworld right now, he might just be able to help you.

Bought this watch on Chrono24. My first time buying a very expensive watch online. It's very risky especially on chrono24 because chrono24 don't give a crap if buyers get scammed. There are many horrid stories and experiences of buying luxury watches on chrono24. So choosing the right sellers are very important. Never fully believe in "Trusted", "Pro", "Premium" seller, or since how many long years on the site. It means nothing much except it indicates the sellers are the paying customers to Chrono24 for buying the titles.

I bought this watch from a Japan seller with physical shop in Osaka. Trustworthy and very good service. The watch comes with crocodile straps and got rejected by the japan customs from shipping. Seller took out straps and shipped the watch and straps separately.

Japan customs is very strict. Seller was not willing to declare lower value for the watch because big penalty/fine if busted. And endangered animal skin/parts like crocodile straps are not allowed for export.

I paid GST 6%

Guys, is it normal to heard some tickling sound (like the sound of loose part) when you shake your mechanical watch??

For my newly bought Tissot watch, I noticed at the back glass of my watch, there’s something like a “half cover” which will rotate based on how I rotate the watch.

Is this normal for other brand watch? What is it for? Could it be the reason I heard the tickling sound when I shake my watch up and down ?
*
that's the rotor that powers the watch

https://www.bernardwatch.com/blog/watch-rotor/

yeah, some rotors are loud af and some are quiet. My B&R Red Radar has a very noisy whirring sound whenever i flick my wrist haha

Guys, are there also 20% discount on high end watch like Rolex and Omega??
*
Rolex usually goes like 8% for normal models, 12% for full gold models, and no discount for sports models

since now is no tax period, thinking of buying a mechanical watch to keep, been using tissot PRX as daily watch for many years.
i am looking at Maurice Lacroix Ponto s Extreme, a very beautiful watch, but i dont go diving. And then looking at Tag heuer carrera heuer 01 43mm.
In dilemma now, dint go test wear any of it yet, but price wise is few thousand difference only, by looking at the price tag on watch, for movementi think is carrera better. Not sure will get discount or not.
Both is good for me but only can choose 1. Or wait 1 or 2 years to buy better watch? My father got a yatch master II, but i am not impressed on it at all, dont know why...
*
i'd vote for the carerra 01, the black ceramic version icon_idea.gif

Corum Bridge Titanium. Nice.

I hope you bought it used as the preowned prices hover at around RM28-38k, which is like a 50% depreciation from it’s MSRP.
*
I bought it new at around that price as the AD was offloading their Corums laugh.gif

Dude. That is awesome. Brand new watch at the price of preowned. Even if you sell, you don’t lose any money.

It’s a really nice watch. It’s fully Titanium including the bridge. At first glance, it looks like a pseudo Richard Mille. And probably weighs as much as one.
*
Don't really know the weight of a RM but it's quite light leh, lighter than my Zenith Port Royal that's about the same size

Titanium is a very light and strong material. It’s also corrosion resistant.

I believe that your Corum weights around the same as the RM in Titanium.
