MYR 2k for a non-LE fashion watch is a bit steep IMHO, however, beauty is in the eyes of beholder
FYI, I got my LE SCBS017 at JPY 37.5k few years ago (approx. MYR 1.5k)

if you are image conscious, I believe it's best to top up "a little", bite the bullet and go straight to Rolex
