Can't decide if it's going to be Sub NoDate, GMT or BLNR

no surprises here especially after the price hike. A lot of models started to appear on the shop windows. The BLNR is second hand and ADs are still fulfilling back orders, been told it's a one year wait. I think I can wait it out....

Both the GMTII & the Sub is available now. I wasn't expecting it but I saw it at the AD yesterday. Price increase wasn't too much for the sub, kinda tempted. I bet it'll be gone by the time I've decided ha.,

Around 10 months waiting list for the Daytona... and for the regular Nautilus 5711 there's like a 5 year waiting list for it?! Not sure how true but thats what they told me. I could be wrong.

How often do i need to service such watches as i assume "proper" watches need servicing?

Im thinking of getting an Omega Seamaster watch for me and my wife for our 20th anniversary.

I dropped by the omega dealer in gurney plaza and they only offered 8℅ discount on the RRP.

I heard some shops in kl used to give up to 20℅ discount.

What are the best available discounts for Omega watches?

Probably better off looking for a grey or used Aquanaut. Better be soon; when the Nautilus goes up 20%, the Aquanaut's popularity and demand is likely to increase.

Except the one I got was not really BNIB but a display unit. I don't feel really good about it tbh, unless it's something normal

Just in case I wasn't clear on this, this was how their store sells their watches :
New watch comes in big box bundle -> put one watch on display -> customer try that watch -> customer buys that exact watch he tried -> puts new watch on display again from the big box. And the cycle repeats

Now I'm just wondering if that's normal business practice in the watch world or did that shop treats their customers terribly? I remember there was this one huge issue a few years ago about lyn seller Davis selling display unit gshock to a customer, so I thought selling display units is a big no-no

Also, is it "right" that the shop offers warranty only at the shop? I got used to how PC parts warranty works by either sending back to the shop or can send to their official service center. So not very sure about this in the watches world
