Current model S73G does not offer higher processor speed. I am hoping to get a renew model that has higher speed. Maybe when s73v available in malaysia hope provide more flavour. This is what holding me from buying S73G, while waiting for better offer can wait for centrino pro as well.

QUOTE(tplcaik @ Apr 18 2007, 09:53 AM) The difference between S73G/V just change of OS to vista. Nothing changes in hardware parts. Yea, u should wait till May if u looking for better performance like centrino Pro but the price surely costly that time. I am just hoping for the processor higher processor as Malaysia stock are all 1.66Ghz. So when renew the stock to S73v I hope BenQ say our offer for 1.8ghz is the lowest. Then the supplies say okie dokie, then that solve the my problem. Hahaha a bit late too dream i guess. This post has been edited by Spiv: Apr 18 2007, 10:07 AM |

Merom is called C2D. We need to see intel spec when newer proc is release. If you are lucky you might be able to support lastest C2D (800fsb)

QUOTE(Aoshi_88 @ Jun 11 2007, 08:32 AM) Yowhen you get it, do you know how to do proper review on the machine? Let me explain a bit to do a good review. 1. Take close up pix, all the side where can see the USB, firewire, HDMI and ... 2. Run benchmark like (default setting) 3dmarks06, CPUmark, Everest and CPUID 3. Take screenshot on the setting of the benchmark. 4. Play some games and tell us how is it feel (smooth/laggy and what is the setting for the games) 5. Play dvd movies like Pirates of the carribean on batt (without the power cable on) see how long does it last. 6. Play some music see how does it feel. 7. Lastly add some of your own remark/comment. |

no i don't want that pix, i want the one that you get. You take pix maybe some flaw or something not right, that why need a close up pix is possible. if don't have then you have to judge yourself lo. look every corner.

QUOTE(nicole06 @ Jun 11 2007, 08:34 PM) If exclude from heat issue (will never know until the product is here), it is worth it performance wise compare to the old S73G, but compare to others (my own opinion) Santa Rosa laptop i think the best performance/price ratio will be Acer Gemstone. I can't wait until the S41 is here. |
