Yo ho..I just purchased a BenQ R55 from penang PC-fair yesterday(RM3349). It come with standard spec. I requested to change the 2x512MB RAM to 1x1GB ram with FOC too so that i can upgrade another 1GB ram anytime. 

Thanks bro..Ya,I am the one who was crowded in the fair . How is ur sales nowaday? BenQ is a great product, I like it very much. THe spec & price was so attractive. Now testing the machine now. No heat,running smooth,battery running 2.5hours for best performance. One problem is the dvd rom is quite noisy when starting spin but after that is ok. The processor fan seldom spin also. Sometime spin and sometime stop spin. Is it normal? is it the fan just spin when the temp is high?

The touch pad setting there got wo. U may tick or untick the scroll zone. I tick alr but no respond.

Finally got to touch and feel a S37G... Sure it has a powerful proc and graphic chip, but in my hands, I wonder just how months (not years) it would last without breaking in half. Not to say anything about the unit's build quality itself, but it's me that's the problem.

For reference purposes, I once dropped my Fujitsu C2220 from table height (from the boot of an Avanza, actually), and the magnesium frame cracked open. It took some hammering from a comp shop nearby to close the huge gap on its side, but it worked just fine after that.

I imagined what will happen to a S37G if I were to drop it like that.

Gonna get myself an XPS M1210 to replace the 3 year old C2220, because of its magnesium cover and frame, the 7400 go (still no where near the S37G's X1600) and the 3 Year completecover.

Great specced lappy though, the S37G. Shame I know I can't take care of it.

wow... interesting. i will goto pc fair to get a look at this notebook. very tempting

I dunno guys.... but my laptop is working well in C&C 3 maybe upgrade to 2 GIG 667mhz ram

no wonder lo..2GB..lolz..superb..

if 64bit OS bcome mainstream, 4GB ram is more apply...

i think this lappy is the lightest 1 among 14.1"....
best for mid-size screen and high mobility..

i get from UTAR vista campus launch..sendiri burn de.but microsoft giv activation code..lolz..1GB not enuf i think lo..a bit lag lag..n damn many progamme cant use..hai~~hard to find software too..
