QUOTE(Mavik @ Jan 9 2017, 03:51 PM) There were some mention about calibrating the colours of the screen as out of the box the colours weren't exactly accurate. Did you notice that with yours? i not sure about that, since i not aware much on this issue. however its not a 99% SRGB monitor and i not using for photo editing. MOBA gamer here, haha.

QUOTE(Mavik @ Jan 8 2017, 08:00 PM) Went to check out the vx3209 but it was sold out at ViewNet! Can't wait for the stock to come back. Want to check the quality of the screen. Any feedback so far? Main purpose is mostly for Photoshop/Premier Pro basic editing work. Look elsewhere. This thing is best for moba and rpg gaming. Good to watch movie. Professional photo editing then look elsewhere like the Dell U2515h for abt the same price but smaller. Unless you can calibrate the monitor yourself

For Professional photo editing, VP 2468 will do the better job than VX3209-2k. since VP2468 have 99% SRGB color. almost in same price, but VP2468 will only be 24".

You are right, for photo editing I will stick to my current Dell 27". Now itchy to get the Viewsonic purely for watching movies and doing light work at home haha.

Bought a unit of VX3209 and have tested it for a full day.
Im running the colour in native and not srgb (brightness and contrast reduced). Overall let me share some of the things i observed over my oldie U2311h.
Colour wise it cant reproduce as vibrant colours as U2311h. It is good enough for gaming and etc but you might be disappointed if you are hoping it can produce good enough colours to rival the dell. Im not that picky though, i kinda like it.
I cant get the speaker to work... not sure why. If i ever temper with the menu setting (as in add more settings; Setting higher response time and dynamic contrast) sometimes it will goes black for a while. Did i not mention i was running in HDMI mode.
The stand looks cheap but once set up it looks great (sounds confusing eh). It is a 1.2k monitor anyway haha cant ask for much.
As for gaming, I gamed on PC at 1440p with a gtx970 and PS4 pro. I didnt notice any input lag but i have only tested this with FIFA 17 and LOL.
As for movies yet to watch any but i did watch running man in 720p. It looks good but you cant put it on full screen anymore. Need at least 1080p to look good in full screen.

QUOTE(zzzhhhzzz @ Feb 9 2017, 02:13 PM) is the viewsonic good for watching tv ? hows the contrast and colour vibrancy? It wasn't great to be honest. But definitely can't expect much of it from a RM1.2k monitor for that size.

Bought Viewsonic XG2703-GS last week. Despite the expensive price, it is a very good monitor. Not expert in monitor but I do felt that it is much better comparing to my previous Dell Ultrasharp 24". Using it for my works and gaming on PC and console.

Just bought a Viewsonic VX2363Smhl. Not bad but the black colour seemed to be very dark for me.
