It's been quite a while since I last heard any new monitors from ViewSonic and looks like they're making a comeback this time. Saw some flyers when I visited Lucro PC today and this, in particular, caught my attention.





What do you guys think and is anyone currently using this VX2457?

i saw viewsonic at jayacom page the other day. the specs looks okay to me.

I've checked the price on lelong and it is RM650. Looking good for a 23.6" freesync monitor:

i visited lucro PC at cyberjaya just now and i saw the flyer.

im using a R9 280X but i never try any freesync monitor before. how is it like actually?

if you heard of G-SYNC, the freesync is the G-SYNC like alternative because G-SYNC is made only for NVIDIA graphics card and is not available for AMD graphics card.

eliminate tearing + maintain high frame rates for gaming

both G-SYNC and FreeSync has been around for quite some time.
my focus here is that ViewSonic is making a comeback after being quiet for all the while

g-sync monitor will always be more xpensive because of the add on board required... the viewsonic spec is good..but 1 thing i dont like is the thick bezel..

i think bezel isn't gonna affect much. im currently using a dell u2312hm and i have no problem with its thick bezel

well, both my LG and Philips monitor has a thick bezel, not having any issue with it.

Yupp but if u use triple monitor side by side it looks ugly
