Just noticed my statement is out today. Quickly went and checked, no AF charged yet. Phew. Looks like I will stick to spending everything by 2nd Sept for Sept cash back. However, before I do that I will check with CS what will happen to my cash back after my card is cancelled.

Unfortunately all three items not qualified for any cash back. Previously Sam Groceria was the only place to accept credit card for all the above payment but you need to choose Grocery category but now all cash only.

The email confirmation from Payonline for TNB payment is a bit slow(3-5 hours later) today. I made 8 TNB payments today.

Saw that AF is charged on my card on 14th Sept which I kinda expect that since my card was approved on this date last year.

Now I will call them to request for waiver. Moment of truth is coming and I foresee no waiver at all.

Add on: Just called and expected no waiver but I questioned the inconsistency of their practice. Why some customers got it while some don't get it? He insisted only those first year will get, subsequent will not get. I asked him to check back his record, some got it within this month. It is not difficult to check when today is only the 15th day of this month. He then said, if it is waived, usually it is given by retention department. Fair enough. So, I asked for cancellation and at the same time asked about my cash back. He said if I cancel now, I will not get my August cash back which is expected to be in on 28th Sept. OK, it makes more sense to cancel after 28th Sept right? He said yes. So yeah, I postponed my cancellation plan. I will be back for update after this.

Yeah, same boat now.
Let's see if we can get reversal. Fingers crossed.

the moment i asked CS, he can immediately tell me the amount is refundable! Since i paid mine in June, they can waive AF for about RM106 (remaining 8 months of 12 months paid AF).

Oct cashback (earned from Sep spending), he said cannot transfer earned cashback to Mach after Wise is canceled.

However, he said can transfer the earned cashback to Mach, then terminate Wise.

Safe to say, wait for cashback, transfer to Mach, cancel card and get AF refund (prorated)

Yeah, I got an inefficient CS apparently. If next Monday, still nothing I will call again.

I was waiting for my AF refund for quite some time but still nothing posted to my MACH yet. Finally called CS to check out status and they already refunded on 14th Nov but to nowhere because they didn't receive any instruction to which account.

So, I requested again to transfer to my existing MACH card and it will take another 5 working days. Refund amount inclusive GST is RM 155.40. My AF was posted in September and cancelled in October.

The CS said they can help to transfer to any bank's CASA as well but will have a RM 2 charge.

now think back, the black and white emails is similar to the call recording. they have all the call recordings. they can check the recording, with the dates provided by me.

it is only penalty of few ten sen. i am very unhappy which i have to bear this for their mistake. should i really spend time to file a complaint to bnm ?
