So even swipe another rm1k on govt transaction for wise card to meet up the min rm2000 monthly retail purchase also not included? Doesn't seem to notice anywhere in their t&c.
Wow.. Congrats! How do you do that for annual fees waiver?
*
I think someone did it a few weeks back, requesting the annual fee to be waive due to the changes of their T&C.

I said the same something and add i'll use this card till end of 2017.

For those who wanted to cancel Wise due to other cards have 5% rebate or more and without annual fee, not because of the high minimum spending requirement, good news for you.

Just call CS and tell them this card is still worth it for its 5% for any transaction and CS might offer you to "extend" your annual fee to 1 more year, yes that was the term used by CS.

My AF was charged back on the 1st March 2016. CS said my next AF will be charged on 1st March 2018. Happily accepted, I asked is it subjected to approval? CS said no, if you are willing to use the card then we will extend the AF for you.

After the conversation, I sent a message to HLB via HLConnect. Today they replied and confirmed that my next AF will be charged on 1st March 2018.

Beside UOB payonline, does posonline entitle for Wise CB? Also is there a way that I can print out the receipt on payonline?

Usually payonline will send you confirmation email once the payment is successful.

Posonline is consider as government transaction : post 33

Hmm, so my above spending was on Jan2017 but the description is like this "100 HappyDays Cashback-31/12/2016".

Anyone here get their cash back also mention the same thing even when your winning transaction is on Jan?

told you all. Hlb is very proud to be the highest cash back giver and will flaunt this whenever people ask for waiver.

delusional. i will most likely cancel my hlb come the af.

Cash back 1.2k per annum for a single card is indeed the highest one in the market.

Combine multiple cards then wise is not actually that good anymore..

But then how many would actually really apply a few cash back cards to cater for different categories.. I personally know none except you guys in this forum..

Edit: if is not for this forum I wouldn't even hold so many cash back cards. Lol

Cashback is actually higher using the combined PBB, Yolo, Aeon Big cards. PBB's cashback is at 6%.

With wise you get 5% only if you spend exactly RM1000 in eligible categories and another RM1,000 in any category. If you spend more than RM2k, your cashback is less than 5%

In the end it comes down to your spending habits. If you can't spend 2k a month, Wise doesn't work
*
If spending less than 2k Wise is not even attractive.. Maybank cards would be better..

The problem with PBB VS is 100k annual income..

Your cash back for Jan should already be posted on 28 Feb 2017 and reflected ytd.

If you did not see it means you did not reach the 2k spending requirement in Jan.

Actually I spend around 2.4k for Jan and my balance from Dec is 500 which is for deposit for hospital admission.

My insurance refund back the 500 on Jan so HLB consider my spending for Jan is only 1.9k.

Thus, basically saying whoever anticipating cashback 100 from last month should spend at least 2.1k and not 2k this month to qualify for cashback for next month.

Learned my lesson the hard way.
*
Your 2.4k spending include the balance from your Dec'16 spending? Did you include the Dec'16 balance in your Jan'17 spending?

Nope. 2.4k is for spending for Jan only. If include balance from Dec is 2.9k.

Just an update. I'm still arguing with HLB CS on this matter.

They said they will check n revert back to me.

Hoping to get the cashback.
*
At the end of the day, you never actually spend the RM500.

If that 500 refunded in Dec you wound't get any cash back for that month. So i think it's fair that they minus off your Jan spending by 500 when it's refunded in Jan.

If they give it to you then you are lucky.

add: If everyone spend 2k and refund it the next month then we will be getting free cash back without actually spending it.

I think u misunderstood me. My spending for Jan is 2.4k excluding the 500 balance from Dec. So, I should be qualified for the cashback since my spending is above the min requirement of 2k spending per month.

Just now they called me back and blaming my JOMPAY spending on that Jan. They said JOMPAY does not eligible for the computation of the 2k spending.

I thought someone in this thread got black and white from HLB saying that JOMPAY is eligible for the 2k spending right?

I'm still disputing this issue with HLB and will let you guys know.

Revision of Hong Leong Credit Card Rewards Points and Cash Back Effective 16 June 2016, please be informed that all Government and JomPAY related transactions performed via any Hong Leong Credit Card, shall be excluded from the computation of Rewards Points and awarding of Cash Back.

Does not qualify for cash back but think it should be counted as part of the 2k spending.
