QUOTE(lai_dm @ Sep 23 2016, 01:43 PM) most ppl do not spend more than 2000 in a month thats why HLB came out with this stupid rules, very smart HLB You speak for yourself only is it? RM2000 is damn low spending for those age 30 and above. Petrol, Groceries, Food, Insurance, Utilities.... confirm over RM2k la for family

QUOTE(LostAndFound @ Sep 23 2016, 02:02 PM) Not all of those are charge-able to credit cards. Groceries some may spend a lot but prefer the freshness at market. Food some may not patronize CC-accepting places very often, either because eating at home or simply the shops they go too don't accept CC. Only Petrol and Utilities confirm can use CC. Not many households can >2k just based on those, hence why so many in this thread want to 'throw in' insurance. Of course if you're the sort who dine out to CC accepting places and/or shop at Giant/Mydin/Tesco then easy to hit 2k. Then again may not be worth it if you already have other cards which will give you 5%. I buy groceries from NSK market, which is fresh market and accept credit card. Hero market also can accept. What is the average household income in Malaysia? It is RM7k. Don't tell me RM2k is not doable. The reason we see a lot of people complaining in this thread wanna cancel is because most are single and fresh grad here. But I believe HLB is not so dumb, they're focusing on majority which can easily hit 2k per month. People who cannot hit RM2k per month is minority.

QUOTE(LostAndFound @ Sep 23 2016, 02:29 PM) 800 per month insurance? Ngam bo. Other than that, amounts almost matching my spending except I've got way cheaper mobile bills (yay U mobile). But Unifi settled by PBB VS, groceries also (along with CIMB CR for online purchase of milk powder and diapers). Petrol settled by MBB Ikhwan Mastercard, Aeon Big for Sundays and misc. spending. Why should I move spending from better cards (6% or 5%, not 4+% like Wise in best case)? I'm married with two kids and household income above average, but I almost never hit 2k on any one credit card. My groceries mostly not CC chargeable (NSK and Hero are expensive wei), and we eat in chinese places which mostly don't accept CC (or only for >RM50). No way 'majority' can easily hit 2k per month just on this card. As I say, different family different spending. I'm married with two kids too. Household income way more than average and I can easily hit RM2k without breaking a sweat. The reason I don't opt for multiple cards like you did is because I do not have the energy to remember which card to use when I spend, which day to pump petrol, due dates of each and every credit card etc. One card to settle all. Kautim. I have way more important things to do. That's just my 2cents though. Of course if you're good at managing multiple cards, good for you

See how you contradict yourself? You're trolling at the wrong place kid. Just go back to Kopitiam. Looking at your posts, all are not substantial and just post to increase post counts.

QUOTE(matrix88 @ Aug 2 2017, 11:03 AM) Excuse me. What do you mean by trolling? I am just giving my opinion and experiences. I got my charges waived, what does it have to do with other kopitiam post? I think you are the one who is trying to increase your post counts!!! I used the card quite frequently while overseas, during overseas trip it can be more than 10k/mth but not every month i travel overall I'll say about 100k/year Simple, pics or you lied.

QUOTE(herc @ Aug 2 2017, 11:32 AM) well, waive or not waive, spending 100k on WISE card is definitely not WISE LOL. But it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that the kid is lying.

QUOTE(Human Nature @ Jun 10 2019, 02:11 PM) I am stuck with this card for another year as having 12 months installments. And then will pay the AF and SST again. Anyone know if we can make early settlement without penalty? Can. Call the bank say u want to cancel the card and settle instalment in full.

Can someone create a new version of this thread? Looks like the existing TS is not active and the information on 1st post is not updated at all.

QUOTE(cybpsych @ Jun 18 2019, 01:50 PM) cannot simply open new topic I already mentioned my reasons and that it is sufficient and justifable. The thread is already more than 150 pages long, perfectly fine to have another version. If you have nothing to contribute maybe you should just shut your pie hole
