QUOTE(Tigerr @ Oct 16 2016, 11:23 AM) can call to waive the annual fees mah. even my uob vi also can waived AF even I didn't spend to the required amount. but wise card, u beg also they don't bother with u. Im successful to "waived" my second year AF for WISE cc. They use word of "extend" instead of "waive" for WIse AF. MY anniversary year fall on OCT'16 which is this month and i called up sc in advance to request to waive my AF. It took 5 days to process and SC informed me to call back to check the status. Today i managed to call sc and confirmed that my WISE AF charge has been seccussfully "extend" to OCT'17. Meaning that, there is no AF charge from OCT'16 to SEP'17. It's time to show your negotiation skill with HlB SC. They are aware mass of ppl started to cancel WISE cc. Hope my a little contribution help u guys to save a single penny ! Good luck ! QUOTE(eehtsitna @ Nov 9 2018, 11:32 AM) Guys! Noob question here. If my statement balance is at -Rm300 this month (my mistake where i actually double paid for the previous statement), do i have to spend rm2300 to entitle for the rebate or do i have to spend rm1700 instead? Not related to spending requirement. Thanks in advance. Still need to spend > RM2000 per month. |

Just a quick silly question, hope can get answer from here.
Refer to below WISE card tnc 3. Terms and Conditions of the Programme (a) The term “Eligible Retail Transaction” shall refer to any retail purchase transaction made locally and overseas, including online transactions which are charged to the WISE Card (both Principal and supplementary WISE Cards) but EXCLUDES the following transactions: (i) cash-type transactions including but not limited to Cash Advances, Cash-On-Call and Balance Transfers; (ii) Cash-On-Call transactions; (iii) fees and charges including but not limited to charges for cash withdrawals and cash payments, annual fees, interest and/or finance charges, disputed transactions, government charges and any other kind of charges and penalties; Is the government charges equal to government tax ? But in tnc paragraph 4. proper word "Government tax" being used instead of government charges. 4. Change of Enrolment (a) Principal Cardholders are given the option to change the Enrolments by selecting different Spend Categories (excluding Bonus Category) (“Revised Enrolment”). For each change of Spend Category , a one-time maintenance service fee (the “Fee”) of Ringgit Malaysia Ten (RM10.00) will be charged at the point of revision of Enrolment (subject to Government Tax, if applicable). I'm thinking to file a dispute with HLB due to SST being charged last month but SST excluded as a part of RM2,000 spending. last month spent about RM1,985 in total excluded annual fee and SST. So zero CB. Hope some sifu can help. This post has been edited by Prop.Observer: Dec 6 2018, 02:33 PM |

QUOTE(ClarenceT @ Dec 6 2018, 03:46 PM) Govt-related transactions (eg you pay income tax, govt bills, cukai tanah, cukai pintu etc) is always a part of my monthly spent >RM2000, either offline or online. Yes. Im totally agreed with govt. related transactions was part of RM2,000 spent in wise card. But Card Service Tax is not a Govt-related transaction, not offline - not online, but charged by Banks on behalf of Kastam. Unfortunately Kastam don't give you a ST bill/invoice or a Kastam account then you pay at Kastam's website or counter! From my understanding government charges is not equal to government tax ? am i correct? would like to use this point to argue with HLB in order redeem back RM100 CB. |
