Just made payment n check the MCC code for PTPTN payment using their new credit card terminal. The MCC code is 9399, Government Services (Not Elsewhere Classified). Is this eligible transaction for Wise cc to meet up the total Purchase for rm2000/ mth?

Eligible retail transactions include local and international retail and online purchases, recurring payments, insurance premiums, 0% Interest Easy Payment Plan (one time principal amount only) and Easy Payment Installment Plan (one time principal amount only); EXCLUDING, cash advance, balance transfer, Cash-on-Call, Call-for- Cash, Flexi-Payment Plan, fund transfer, fees and charges imposed by the Bank.

Which covers almost everything, except those "BANK" type transactions.

As I mentioned a few posts above, that is the same message that various HLB CS confidently say on the phone. Government is included.

a) The term “Eligible Retail Transaction” shall refer to any retail purchase transaction made
locally and overseas, including online transactions which are charged to the WISE Card (both
Principal and supplementary WISE Cards) but EXCLUDES the following transactions:
(i) cash-type transactions including but not limited to Cash Advances, Cash-On-Call and

My concern is the petrol. So it says that any petrol station can get 10% cash rebate per month with a RM 100 cap?

Any other terms and conditions to this?

Plus if swipe more than 12 times per year. Can ask for free waiver?

We wish to inform that JomPAY/ government transactions like MYEQ and PAYBILLSMALAYSIA.COM (MCC 9399) no longer earn rebates eff 1 Aug 2016.

However, the amount considered to meet qualifying spend as the transaction does not earn rebate but will be considered as part of the RM2000 spending requirement eff 1 October 16.

the moment i asked CS, he can immediately tell me the amount is refundable! Since i paid mine in June, they can waive AF for about RM106 (remaining 8 months of 12 months paid AF).

Oct cashback (earned from Sep spending), he said cannot transfer earned cashback to Mach after Wise is canceled.

However, he said can transfer the earned cashback to Mach, then terminate Wise.

Safe to say, wait for cashback, transfer to Mach, cancel card and get AF refund (prorated)

if you're worried, you can call their CS, sometimes it's already in the branch but may be they are overwhelmed at the moment and no time to call all the customers...

best is still to call CS. they will check for you.

I have no any noticed that my new PIN card has actually sent previously until I received SMS mentioned my current card will inactive.

I then only know the PIN card has sent in August which is 3 months ago, called to block my current card immediately and re-send the new PIN card, received it after 5 working days
