Digi treat their customers on contract like crap. When you sign the contract, you are selling your soul to them. To change your package, you would need to terminate your contract which means paying a penalty for it. If not, you can dream on for them to upgrade your current package.

Sapa suruh sign contract la kan? You sign, you honour it. Willing, seller, willing buyer. You signed because you at that time you think it is the best deal ma right?

Its was never a case of getting out of the contract. Just wanted to change the package. Btw, do you know that companies lines are all tied up to 2 years contract whether you like it or not? Get your facts right first. shakehead.gif

A contract is a contract - get this fact right , and you will find all your arguments are self defeating.

changing package , upgrade plan etc - is not part of the contract, so whatever your sentiments are - they are irrelevant, just saying bro.
*
I agree to that to certain extent. A contract is a contract and its contents are binding. But how about customer relationship? Ie keeping the customer happy. How about customer retention? If you are in the service line, you would understand that keeping your customer happy is very important.
Nevertheless, thanks to (whatever my sentinments were), we are porting out all our company lines to another Telco which doesn't require us to sign any contracts.

I like you....

You understand this from the consumer point of view.. or you must have studied marketing principles  flex.gif

Im a graduate in business studies and marketing is one of my core study. If you look at my signature, you will know Im in a customer orientated type of business and I like to keep my customers happy. Its pretty straightforward, when your customers are not happy, they will just bring their business elsewhere.

Damn.. I am tired of repeating myself..
Like I said.. I am not comparing my plan with another non device plan...I am comparing APPLE TO APPLE..
My RM108 postpaid is a device plan... the same as RM68 device plan currently offered with 6GB while mine is 5GB...
I signed the contract... I did not say they are in breach of contract... but their business ethics is SHIT.. it's a fact when a customer signed with you earlier but you decided to screw him and not giving him what he actually deserve..
*
There is basically no need to argue anymore on this. Its very clear that Digi wont ever accomodate your request no matter what your excuse are. Next time, be a smart consumer and try to look for a Telco which doesn't require you to sign a contract OR which are more willing to accomodate their customers' requests.

Here is a tip. Make a huge rant and if your lucky, you get their CEO to appear on Video for 3 mins and revise things for you, like what happen in Maxis biggrin.gif

Hahaha.. That would take a few thousands subscribers to be unhappy then.

Your contract says u pay this much monthly for this telco service, data plus call, and your phone. Phone sudak dapat. 2 months later realise ur package not competitive. Make noise. Then the next time you buy house you better tell bank their offer is not competitive after you sign the offer letter. You will still want to remain with the bank, but you want them to revise their package. Same bank they hv the obligation to revise for u right? Tapi lock out period is 5 years like what you have signed in contract. You go complain? Make noise?

Do you read? Mine a company line and ours doesn't get any free phones. doh.gif

So that 2 years tied up contract is not contract?

All Digi company lines requires a 2 year contract and to me I think its lopsided. That is why we are not signing with Digi anymore.

I have some updates for you. Seems like Digi has revised their policies. You can get in touch with Digi Cs and request for change of plans but the montly subscription of the plan must be equal or higher than your current plan even though you are still in contract.

that seems fair. they don't have to do it but they do it anyway as courtesy to their customers. that's why I ask the TS to write Digi to negotiate a win-win situation. no harm trying.

QUOTE(teikseng @ Jul 29 2016, 11:20 AM)
you are not allowed to change to all promotional plans!
*
Our company managed to negotiate to a "No contract commitment" for our company lines with their higher ranking officials. They even accomodated on changing the plans. So I think TS could try talking to their CS and see if they can accomodate as well.
