Initially, i thought 2 of the best additions in premium vs executive variant are the HU and extra airbags. I think HU really left much to be desired even basic functions like radio reception are poor and slow boot up time (almost a minute after i start my car) . If you can accept just 2 airbags..go for executive variant now with their promotions and install 3rd party HU which should be miles better .

You might get your car much faster too.

hu is the android head unit with screen, can play Dvd movie files and gps too. Now only i found out it cannot play movie when driving, the Gps data is outdated, andriod version old mayb thats why loading time slow. I prefer radio or music to play immediately when i start my car, not cannot. Reall miss my old car cd player sometimes. HMMm..

Persona all variants are packed with lots of safety features, extra airbags are bonus though.

Got issues but not big enuff for a heated hot responds i guess. And hopelessness too on some .

I guess i gonna find find 3rd party to improve my radio reception. Will any sharkfin antenna helps?

Gosh I think my HU unit is playing tricks on me.. the earlier mentioned radio detection problem is no more (yay!!) but now it crashed when trying to read SD card content (there's the android error box showing some exception in xxx.yyy.zzz module) . Now I have ZERO OPTIONS in playing mp3 songs since the USB also can't detect.

Dont forget this months fuel price up 20cent per litre...so thats about 10% more fc than previous month. Last months with rm50 i can manage about 9 trips with average 30 km per trip. Now its 7 trips especially when i was stuck in a few chronic jam lasting bout 1hr each time recently.

My old saga lmst had the fuel meter Instead of bars it showed more precision with indicator displaying fractions of a bar. But its inaccurate and fluctuates often . I guess thats why newer proton are using indicators showing either one bar or none at all. So if im seeing 3 bars , it might be 3.4 or 2.8. My wild guess.

I finally hit the ong number 2 days ago.... 8.8l / 100km

I never experienced anything below 8.

Thats the number from day 1 I get my car till now ( been 2 months) . 60% city roads 40% highway. home to office about 30km .

Since you're a fresh grad, get the Executive version and save few Ks instead coz..

1) if you fancy the Premium variant HU unit , its really mediocre at best and full of bugs / GPS outdated data. The money saved can be used to buy more superior HU from better brand. I own a Premium version and really cant wait for the HU warranty to end next year or maybe wait 2 years to change to a better model. Now I just bear with it hmm..

2) You'll probably drive alone or with a passenger next to you (paktor?) most of the time , seldom carrying full load.. so the 6 airbags doesnt makes much of a difference, 2 is adequate. All persona variants are packed with tons of safety features so you're pretty much protected there.

3) you can live without leather seats.
