Went for first service on 2/12 at HQ, issues including
1. Dashboard rattling
2. Radio volume high and low

Collected car on 6/12
1. I/P kit added in dashboard. Rattling solved
2. Reset radio system. Problem still there. They claimed it's the frequency of radio stations not accurate at certain areas and cause the problem.
3. Engine oil used is the new Syntium 800 SE. FOC also, 3 yrs free service and labour.

I wanna solve the radio issue, can I go to another service centre and claim warranty? Or must I wait for the 10k service? If I remember, someone claim a new antenna and problem solved.

One good thing they did is, they hide my dashcam cable into the A pillar and doorstep, which I didn't ask them to do it. A proactive move.

I didn't ask for courtesy car. I don't know whether they provide or not tho, maybe you can give them a call and ask before you go

How the ESC is activated? Did you turn the steering much more to the right when you realise it's understeer? Did you step on brake before it's activated? Thanks

Torn between the 2016 Persona and Iriz. Wanna get it for my folks (100% town) and I would use it to travel to work (90% highway 10% jam). What are the pros and cons between these two hot babes? From what I read is that the pros are its really good in the NVH, handling & ride department, fun to drive and its hot. While the cons are the usual rattling sound from dashboard, fuel smell after fueling up (Iriz, not sure Persona has it or not), HU sotplak etc.

I understand that usually people would wait for the cars to be 'matured' in the market and it will be more refined. As I am not desperately in need of getting the new car, what would all the sifus here advise?

My best by far is 6.3L/100km or 15.80km/l with around 20% city drive
5.7L/100km is 17.54km/l

By the way mine is just 3k mileage, the mileage seems to be improving after each fuel up

Guys I experience something weird.

When I was on Highway I was keeping pressure on my accelerator, supposely it will maintain speed or accelerate. But at one point the car suddenly like slow down decelerating. I was so panic, even if I press harder on accelerator also keep dropping speed. Then I release the pressure and reapply pressure back. Then only everything back to normal. =.=ll

Any advice?

So far anyone fixed wind noise at high speed from SC before?

And... no one suffer the air cond odor during startup?

Seems like I'm not alone... did gone through Iriz thread and read about this... it seems like the Aircond cooling coil grow mold that cause these Odor... I tried some simple fix by spraying Dettol Spray at the air intake located at the black stripe below the wiper with my air cond fan at full speed and recirculation mode off.

It does helps bring down the odor, but wasn't completely... maybe because I spray too little 
I just follow this video... except that I only spray like less than 3 seconds... will do more next time

The first service not necessarily within one month right? Because my car's mileage doesn't exceed 400km as of now. Based on the warranty booklet, it only indicated the mile age of 1000km for the first service, but not the period.

what is the best offer for persona now? is it the best time to buy now?

My persona 2017 has very obvious wind noise from the driver's window when drive above 50km/h. Is it normal?

after service my fc is rm15 only able go to 50-60km before blinking again (town area).
it seems FC stated on meter not accurate .. mine show 7L/100km ..

Not sure is placebo effect or what, I do feel the low end torque is now better, soft acceleration is much more linear. All they did is replacing brake switch... will confirm again... last time what they did to your car to have that power delivery improved?

Windnoise they ordered a new part but not yet arrive, so they haven't fix this...

Dashboard rattling need take few days to test because its on and off.. so far no rattling noise

Aircond Odor seems reduced a lot... but not completely... all they did is adding a sponge as described in the description...

And too bad I don't get to meet the foreman for further explanation on what he did to rectifying those issues.

if old proton yupe i understand about the high fc .. but proton promoting eco drive lah .. more economy fuel la .. but still a disappointment ..

I didn't change engine oil, I purposely sent there for them to solve my rattling issue and wind noise... since already sent the car so I also add in other small stuff that bother me
