Yup mybe better check at sc after this. Thats what i did. Turn on engine then only on aircond. Btw does sc only do troubleshooting on weekdays?

It is syntium 800..I already kena mineral Mach 5..next week going to SC for changing oil again to syntium 800..
If they said mineral please asked them to refer proton again..u can refer my case..

I thought the service booklet states 1000km has to change engine oil?

went for 1 k service last day, whn way back to home, i notice some sounds coming out from the car, i guess it is from the aircond, but whn i reach my home, i go down from the car(car engine still running) there's abnormal sounds comes out from the engine , so i recorded down and send to the Service manager tat i met in the SC, few hours passed, he call me to check iziit any fluid under my car, and yes, thrs fluid under my car, thn he suggested me nt to drive the car anymore and ask for towing the car to SC again,engine leak (mayb)

How could this happen? Loosed nuts or oil filter? Fortunately u discover early.. This is very serious as like my colleague's gen 2 last time, the gaskets inside burned as the engine oil ady leaked half empty when his car breakdown at the middle of the road because of the loosen drain nuts.

hmmm, tat fluid under my car was jus "aircond water"   
so... my car is in gud condition, no worries guys, the mechanic ask for towing the car to their SC jus incase tat is engine leak(serious problem may caused alotof problems) , so far im okok wit tis SC( Proton Service Centre Sin Siang Hin at ss14) but the engine sounds i mentioned earlier jus gone    dunno what is the problem

Yesterday just change the EO from Mach 5 to Syntium 800
Also asked SC to fix the rattle problem and wind noise
So far the rattle is gone but wind noise is still there..
This is 2nd time already the SC fix my wind noise problem..haish..

hi guys, i have use the engine oil they giving for the 3 years parts which is syntium 800 (semi synthetic oil), do u guys think it can last for 10k interval service ? wat will be the effect if the oil cannot tahan tat long ?any sign tat i can know its time to change the engine oil?

What I discovered today is that the RPM hike is not so smooth...

Like say if I step at certain constant amount of fuel during pick up, after 2k RPM the RPM hike faster but have slight jerk. Its like stepped rpm hike... not sure how to describe the feeling and its weird... it happens on gear 1, 2 and 3... could it be due to air cond compressor kick in? as I realize there is slight jerk when air cond compressor kick in... and when air cond kick in, there is some hissing sound like someone just started snoring....

My car radio volume fluctuates. It will be softer sometimes and sometimes normal.
Anyone encounters this problem?
