Hello! Im actually planning to get the hardwire kit for viofo a119. However I saw the once at Viofo website has the temporary battery feature. Whereas the one at AliExpress does not have it. Are they the same? Does this mean the one originally from Viofo website can record even during parking whereas the once at AliExpress can't?
Those who know, please enlighten me. Thanks in advance.

QUOTE(blurjoey @ Apr 5 2017, 02:55 PM) You mean the A119 with hardwire kit drained the car battery till fail? Both is the same as at the moment no replica yet... What I mean is, does it have a temporary battery in the power box whereby it will provide power even the car engine is off. Then I can On the motion detector during parking mode. Does this hardwire able to work that way?

QUOTE(blurjoey @ Apr 6 2017, 10:17 AM) The A119 and A119S are using capacitors. It only has enough power to save the video file and settings when power off. This dashcam doesn't use any lithium battery to avoid common battery issue when use in a hot environment like bloating or leaking or exploding... Hardwire kit is direct plug to your car fuse box to draw power direct from the car battery so that it will have the power to record when the car is off. Nice... thanks for the reply @blurjoey!. So it will still record if the car is off if hardwire directly to fuse box. Next thing, would it drain the car battery alot or drain the the battery mampus ?

QUOTE(blurjoey @ Apr 6 2017, 02:47 PM) I think it will drain flat if you left your car for more than a week? If you drive your car every day so that the alternator charges the car battery, shouldn't be a problem. Alright, got it. Thanks bro! So I can actually still use the motion detection mode even during parking, correct?

Hi bros, just checking. How much would it roughly cost for car accessories shop to instal the hardwire kit? I've got my hardwire kit and dashcam ready, just need them to help installing. Better ask so that I roughly know the cost and not getting slaughtered.. hehe.
