HOYA is one of the best for filters as they're optimized to be compatible with most lenses and producing the best results. So, logically, ppl would suggest you getting HOYA even more so if you are using DSLR Lenses. But there is a PRICE to pay for those plus points

the filter will be screwed onto the front element of your lens. If you're using a prosumer camera like Powershot S3/S5, the camera must be attached with a lens adapter first before you can add the ring.

my friend told me that there is some promo thingy for the first 40 buyers. If you're the first 40, you stand a chance to spin this wheel thingy and if you hit the reward, you get to purchase a camera for 50% off. Anybody here saw that promo?

I heard there are no discount for any EOS equipments, just some discount on compact camera and some accessory items.

For the reward or discount to work, you have to select a product you want to buy and really buy it, then you can spin the wheel. 10,20,30,40 and 50% off on the product you will be getting. and you WILL have to pay for it.

EOS cameras are not included in the discount frenzy. But at the wheel, there's a A640 up for grab FOC if you manage to spin it. Simon Yam did it at the first try. Got his A640 and off he goes. lol
