What's kepun?

He has a kanger subtank, but he's fuckin lazy and doesn't wanna look at building his own coils at all.
*
I think he meant kayfun. kepun = kayfun, get it? hehe sweat.gif

I think nautilus mini is a great setup for newbie, give them 12mg or 18mg and they're good to go. Some people just couldn't be bother with recoil and rewick their own tank, so tank with replacement coil heads might suit them best, provided they can afford to spend an extra bucks for the coil heads icon_rolleyes.gif

Once they get the hang of vaping, they might change to different kind of setup.

I found some in lelong for RM99, you could probably find it cheaper on FT though. nod.gif

Maybe buy extra RBAs and have someone coil for him in advance?

I'm the one who coils his Subtank Mini, don't see him all that often so yeah.
I bought the five pawns castle long from you for him actually if you remember

Just though that the MTL vaping style is good for a long time smoker like him. And maybe get him some extra high nicotine juice for that throat hit.

Yeah exactly what I'm thinking, get him a Naut Mini and a few OCCs and 30ml bottle of 12mg. and maybe a pico so it's easy for him to carry around.
I saw that lelong post, but locally I don't see anywhere else selling it. Anyone know where to get the Nautilus Mini OCC locally?

Unfortunately the Naut OCCs are getting harder and harder to find outside of FT. It's around, of course, just effing hard to catch. Shopee?

Like those darned Ego One CL OCCs I gotta track down for me dad's Tron. Thankfully found a box of CLRs laying around somewhere for cheap... at least I can recoil those easier in my free time and he can use another while I recoil one.

Why not the RA-D? It's pretty easy to setup... like foolproof "just-wrap-cotton-and-go" easy. Performance is about on par as "normal" single coil OCC tanks IMHO (not up to the Naut though - but at least it does both MTL and DTL). I didn't try it long enough to test for leak resistance, it seems pretty solid.

Yeah no luck on Shopee as well. 8 USD for 5 packs from FT isn't too bad, if the coils last 2-3 weeks a pop.

What's a RA-D ? Tried Google but nothing tank related came up.

Check Vape Empire FB (any of them lol). Seems to be a "local-grown" product everybody else has not even heard of lol. It's a notchcoil tank that is pretty ingenious if you ask me. Performance is oooooooookay, but the rebuild process is boss, especially for beginners or those who can't be bothered.

Here be my Front Liners, all ready to roll:

First impression for the Hastur V2s: Cramped deck, but as expected, flavour is top notch and even better than the VeloV2. The two layer cap is considerably wriggly though, but it does very well at keeping condensation (and all sorts of other spills) at bay.

As for the Fused Claps... oh God. It's either them Fuses are delivering some serious vapour or its just the Hastur... but I'm ODing very, very quickly at 6. On flavour alone it trumps straight twisted - it doesn't scorch juices as easy - and the dual cores of the Fused helps offset the ramp up problem of your normal Claps.

That said, the additional mass means the smallish deck of the Hastur barely fits two coils, especially at 3mm. Would probably work better on the VeloV2, though I shudder to think about the amount of condensation the Fused are gonna put out.

As for TC... it works at least (on the VT). Not sure how accurate it is though without the "proper" csv. AND coiling them using your normal Coilmaster is a straight up PITA lol... they either end up not getting wound tightly enough... or they get weird kinks in them thanks to the whole thang being more oval than round (due to the dual cores).
