Item 1 have to rajin korek la, dig around online or by trial and error. I've tried ordering stuff from a few sellers on FB, most of them seem fairly alright, but I almost always end up going back to VaperStuff every time. Item 2 ni agak controversy la kan . Best way is to read up on the ingredients used by the brewers and cross reference against the manufacturers spec sheet. To be fair, I think most US juices these days tend to be AP/DA free (that's why they don't taste like they used to back in the day) unless stated otherwise like the ANML range of juices. On a personal level I'm not too worried about the whole popcorn lung thing - I'm not breathing powdered concentrates of the AP/DA on a daily basis, just miniscule amounts of vapor. But still, I accept that its something to ponder.

I sometimes wonder though why nicotine perception in ejuice is so variable - is it purely a matter of grade? I mean, most juices, all things like measuring accuracy in brewing being equal, a bottle with 6mg/ml nic has a certain kind of throat hit. To me it is either mild or fairly non-existent. Then along comes a bottle of Five Pawns or Jade Tiger and suddenly the throat hit from their similarly marked 6mg/ml kicks in and all I can say is.....syahdu....Are there other additives that contribute towards throat hit. Mind you, this is just throat hit, and not the nicotine buzz yet.

Considering that u suspect it to originate from afc, could it possibly be that the build deck-end of the airflow (the one with insulator base, hollow grub screw etc.) has loosened up over time? You can tell this if the base can easily be pushed side to side with a screwdriver. Perhaps try tightening that and see if it helps? I had similar problems but with a v3, juice leaking from air flow channels. Tightened up that base and it was back to normal without having to change o-rings. Not the same model, I know, but I reckon its a possibility to eliminate and doesn't cost anything to try. I had avoided v5 thinking that the more parts an RTA has, the more complications it gets. Phewww

Ever had the tank placed in an ultrasonic cleaner maybe? Shop recoil n cleaned it in a UC?

Hmm...I usually drop by Juice Machine for them bargain-basement juices too, and so far so good. I usually buy Scoops Rainbow Dream or Strawberry Crunch, and Jade Tiger. I dunno whether its my luck or not la but they've always been spot on for me. Would also tapau Perfect 10 Pomegranate for a friend, and that works well too. To be fair, there were juices that didn't turn out great, like Cashmere Millionaire, High Roller... but I found my sweet spot so I ain't complaining. I suppose the dark color of old stock kinda scares ppl away, but that just means more cheapo juice for me

here's to hoping vapecons will one day be like pc fairs - would just wanna go on the last day and get new gear at bargain basement prices

Hmmm ejuice has been a rather sketchy subject of late, now that MOH is intending to regulate it due to presence of nicotine. Food/Drug agency might just be NPRA. The comment they gave doesn't sound like a seizure so I'd say try checking with them and see what the matter is and if there's anything to be done to get it cleared.
