The easy way to open (saw on video by Mike Vapes) is to twist the mod and hold the battery cap instead twisting the battery cap and holding the mod. Looks easy IMHO.
*
Do give it a try when there's an atty full of juice on the mod...it may not be that easy...

Aah I have to get to a decent vape shop one of these days and actually hold a nano.

Battery cover is a bitch.
Felt like trashing it - Stupid fked up design for battery cover

Ouchy. I'm really sorry to hear that. Sigh...that was the very thing I was dreading. The mod itself is sleek and beautiful, and we all know DNA's quality. Hang in there...maybe there'll be some 3rd party batt covers with a non-magnetic D-ring in the near future.

Maybe you're right.  See how it guys when received mine.

Actually I'm hoping I'm WRONG...because it really is a nice mod, and it'd be a pity for some little thing like a battery cover to ruin/make irritating the experience of using it.

Suggest you set aside a bit of time to go thru the Escribe interactive training course
https://downloads.evolvapor.com/escribe/guide/story.html

And here's a quick-start video. It's for the DNA200, but the principle is the same for the DNA75

Mhm, thanks for chiming in your thoughts.

When I have the time I'll read up/watch some YT vids on TC, if ya'll have a good source on TC, please do link it.

*
This should explain more to u
https://vaporhq.com/blog/tutorials/what-is-...-complete-guide

This is just a general guide to TC. If u have a specific device in mind for TC, it's best to search for a dedicated article/vid on it.

Here is the interactive training, make sure u go through is really useful to learn ur mod, another therion come on andy is ur turn.

My turn will come...it will just take more time.
I'd like a red leather Therion with a pleasing pattern, similar in pattern to the red leather on my Triade. Call me kiasu, but I'd rather get it from a B&M than to take my chances buying an expensive device online.

Thanks guys for the guides

BTW Battery life on VT75 nano is poor compared to VTC Mini
Cant even last half a day while my VTC Mini can go few hours longer.
Battery indicator shows half and would even fire.
*

If you're using the free LG HG2 batt (which is hopefully a genuine one...so many lookalike fakes out there) that came with yr mod, give it time to cycle thru 3 or 4 charges, and then let it trickle-charge for at least an hour. It should then hold more energy.

Red leather/black frame would absolutely trigger me lol. Need or no need. I no rike leather but black/red FTW.
*
Umm...no black frame available, unfortunately.

And just to clarify, Lost Vape has an unusual definition of "red leather", which really isn't red. It's more of a brown-ish leather with a general cast of orange and only slight undertones of red. Heck even the "red" sticker on the packaging looks more orange to me. Oh nooo...is it a case of dress colors again? biggrin.gif

I do like the black/red VT75 nano though...it looks bold and striking.

Just got ny Nano. First impression, build quality at the frame are better than the VT75. I hate the removable 510 connector on both. Stuck my KF5 there on both of my mod. Not easy to remove. Need to tighten the connector and don't tighten any atty to hard. And like Xnet say, battery cap is bitch. Thread is hard to caught. The magnetic flip not sturdy and tiny for big hand like me. Other than that I love it. Just going to put the battery there and do direct charging.

Anyway regarding the cut off when firing. Build 0.24 ohm clapton coil on my theorem and the DNA won't let me fire above 42W. I guess the board protect from  the battery voltage drop more than 2.8-ish volt. Guess that how they works. Or if I'm mistaken, please enlightened me. Still learning the escribe.
*
Thank you so much for your impressions, particularly not being able to fire above 42W. As per some photos I posted b4, the sweet spot for my ADV and usual build is 42.5W....all i can say is...basketballs!! I was prepared to even disregard the battery cover fiddling, but I can't ignore that 42W limitation @0.24ohm...and i often build below that too. I'm so glad I waited for your nano to arrive!

This makes my buying decision even clearer and decisive now...no more faffing about like an old biddy. The next time I get to a decent vape shop, it's gonna be a red leather Therion!! Thanks again bro! thumbup.gif

Yeah I can't wait to join your League of Extraordinary Therion Gentlemen!

We'll sit with mod in one hand and a snifter of single malt brandy in the other while murmuring in the most serious tones: "Yes old chap...I must say it's quite a pleasure to handle this device. Do note the contrast and interplay of colours and textures between the fine ebony wood and leather. Most delightful eh what? Harrumph!" biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

Yep. It's the battery. Notice the voltage drop when firing. I'll be good for now. Since I only vape at 20W. Going to buy a few more battery on my next vaping spree

Sorry bro andyng38 cannot fully test the mod.  sweat.gif
*
No worries bro...test at yr convenience. There's no rush at all....I've made my decision smile.gif And since 20W is yr normal , please don't trouble yourself to push it to 60-70W...don't want u to get a toke that's too hot.

If you're looking for LG HG2's, try AlexNg in Shopee. I've bought 9 from him so far...all perform to expectation.

No idea what to do to optimize haha
*
If VirtualBox can run the Escribe interactive trainer, I suggest you familiarize yourself with that first, then setup your device. Optimization (aka tweak till you are satisfied with the vape) can come later on.

hello there,
i'm new to this vape. this is my first time to vape.

is this ok or not?
http://www.lelong.com.my/ipv4s-ipv-4s-zeph...7-11-Sale-P.htm
tq.
*
No it is not OK! Very expensive price for new old stock out-of-production IPV4s and Zephyrus v1. I've seen them go on clearance sale for as low as RM110 and RM60 respectively.

BTW I do own both devices and used them for over a year, and would not recommend the Zephyrus v1 to a beginner; the wicking can be tricky to get right.

Are you are taking up vaping to help u quit smoking? If so, you need an atomizer which will best imitate your style of smoking cigarettes. That will help in the transition process. Let us know and we can recommend a suitable setup (which will probably be kinder to your wallet that that Lelong item).

Yeah listen to all the sifus.

It boils down to how you want to vape.

Do you move around a lot? Want a small mod? Or a bigger mod so you don't have to worry about battery life.
What's your budget?

As for tanks, there's essentially two choices for you; Direct to Lung (DTL) or Mouth to Lung (MTL). DTL is more of an airy vape and MTL is more like how you'd smoke a cigarette.
There's also RBAs and RTAs but I won't get into that just yet.
Pick you preferred vaping style and then we can help recommend a tank from your preference.
*
I'm impressed at your logical and methodical approach to helping a newbie!! thumbup.gif

It's much better to ask a few questions first to determine the needs and preferences, than to straight away recommend devices.

I'll stay on the sidelines and leave that chap in your capable hands...too many cooks can spoil the soup/confuse the vaper. Carry on, SIFU! rclxms.gif

Any SQuape X[dream] ori users here?

Am wondering if it's flavor performance worth the price.

My poor FT Nugget package has been "Held by Custom" under Singpost tracking for nearly a week now sigh. Still no letter coming of it being detained by customs either.

And it's nowhere near 500 either. Sheesh.

At this rate the GB RDA package is gonna win the race lol.

Scratch that. Apparently a parcel has arrived back in "homebase". No drills yet though so no idea which one, GB or FT.
*
Gee...I thought Singpost could handle mods with built-in batts. Hope it's all sorted out soon.

Then i should go for RX2/3/.....btw how much is it?
Thanks thanks for the info notworthy.gif  thumbsup.gif

P/S: 1 more question...let say if I vape at 50w dual coil tank on a RX2/3.....2 battery and 3 battery got different? Or same?
*
A few questions u may wanna ask yourself first:

1) Do I need/will I benefit from the transformation capability between 2 and 3 batteries?

2) Will lifting, holding and putting back down the mod numerous times each day be ok or become a tiresome task? A 3 battery mod can be rather heavy.

3) Does the ergonomics of the mod in 2 and 3 battery mode suit my hand? Will it be comfy to grasp or awkward to hold properly?

If all of the above are ok with u, then go for it! You'll get longer vaping time with 3 batteries @ 50W compared to 2 batteries.
