Hi guys wanna check with fellow Alza users, is there anyone using 195/55/R15 and 185/60R15 ?
Mind sharing your experience with this tire ?
Thanks
*
oem 185/55/15

i changed to 195/55/15

ok la, feel solid a bit, steady a bit.

185/60/15, is a bouncy and comfort soft feel i believe.

i have done that. using the insulflex thingy. It only work for a while.

Aircond is cold but could not sustain on hot day, or when stuck in traffic where airflow is bad.
*
what color is your car cool2.gif

hows your tinted spec ?

IRR % ?

TSER % ?

i think this 2 factor sufficient to explain the current situation you face.

provided that, you have a clean cabin filter.

you have a normal functional aircon system just like any other of us.

Hi Dark Silver, mine to share which tyre brand and spec are you using ? I'm planning to change 4 of my tyres soon.
Hi Kiefer , my initial plan was to fit Bridgestone Potenza RE 080 185/60R15  but not sure will it be too bouncy. On the other hand I would like to equip with Pirelli P1 Cinturato 195/55R15 . Cost for both tyres were about 40 MYR each ...... still hesitating which to go for.

Assume you're using Michelin ? Tread wear and performance so far so good ?
*
been using TOYO T1R 195/55/15 tongue.gif

Bro, how's your T1R ? Will it be noisy ?
*
like i highlight earlier in this thread, i got 12" mohawk in the trunk, so i dont really notice if the tire will be noisy tongue.gif tongue.gif tongue.gif

but it's kinda soft, cornering a bit flimsy, not so firm.

but alza is not those day layan corner vehicle, so i drive slow slow la

but during rain, i drive with confident, and faster than dry time.

lastime oem silverstone m5, i drive slower than bicycle. vmad.gif

Sorry everyone. I would like to ask a few things. I am going to send my car to ordinary car workshop. Just wanna ask a few things.
Is it necessary to change Powersterling oil and brake oil or just add to enough?
*
P/S oil, do once for 100k km will do.

brake oil - normally no people add / top up brake oil, if leak need to diagnose, not add.

if brake pad less, oil level drop, replace brake pad tongue.gif

otherwise if you top up, then replace brake pad, then brake oil will overflow brows.gif

Just upgraded my Alza headlight bulb from ori philip H7 to Philips X-TremeVision +130% more brightness

however to my disappointment, the light perform worse than ori bulb.

and search around, do notice some other member facing the same problems too.

any sifu input for this or need to do modification to our projector headlamp ???

Alza minor defect, you put bulb upside down also can lock into position

please make sure you put bulb in the correct position. Take pic bulb holder position and put bulb accordingly.

Can read here from posting #2210 until #2221

I don't think 6 months so fast.  It is hard to measure period as some may travel mostly at night,  some may just drive at night once a week...

Normally/average, i think can get like 2 years at least.  I replaced the bulbs like at least 2 years ago (1 side).

If 6 months, it could be fakes or dirty fingers when installing.
*
not really.

the given life span is about 450h.

assuming 1day you use 3hours of lights.

450hours divide 3hours = 150days / 30 = 5 months life span

approx figure which is quite accurate

Seems the hose 'bengkak' liao.  Best to change the hoses to new one as takut it will break.  What year is it for your car?

My 2010 still okay and I change the coolant 20k once (toyota coolant with distill water).  I don't use pipe water.
*
mine year 2013 clocked 110k km.

but touching the hose still "soft"

350 seems good deal. I was told to insure RM 800 for the windscreen only without tint.
*
I mean im not sure how much P2SC is charging for windscreen replacement.

It might cost more than a thousand right.

So would recommend for those who dint cover insurance but need to change windscreen, here is a solution place that suit the budget.

I received this letter from Perodua. Driving Alza 2014 facelift model. Anyone had such letter too?
*
Received mine too.
Bought to P2SC get it done in half an hour at no cost incurred.

Mine is 2013 old model.

Basically they will replace a small oring bush near the gear console area where it connected to gearbox cable.

When we shift gears knock, the bush will move along qith the cable. So it will become thin after long time usage/ friction.
