hi all alza owner, i thinking of buying a 2nd hand alza. due to the budget issue. i only able to get below 30k.

may i know the early batch of alza, all com with saferty feature like ABS,EBD, Break Assist and airbag? or only some of the model come with this?

when actually is the alza facelift? 2nd batch..

i think you need to aim for SXi/EZi model if you aiming for early batch alzas in order to get ABS. look out for blue colour meter.

alza facelift you mean, it is launch back in end 2013 if not mistaken.

if you talk about new alza, nope, no such thing exist. as passo sette itself already obsoleted. Probably we may get daihatsu cayla as alza replacement. LOL.

Alza started production back in 2009 or 2010... facelifted in early 2014.

If want below 30k with ABS, airbags etc, you need to get like 2010 year with at least Premium variant.

I afraid umw toyota will bring it here and not daihatsu via p2

This is nice. Any chance it will shake and disturb the angle of monitor? What brand tht u use?

in terms of commercial strategy it is not feasible. Imagine UMWT already have avanza, sienta and innova in their line up. How they position the new MPV like Cayla? sell it for 60k? Remember Cayla is a smaller foot print MPV than Avanza.

Let's hope for. Alza is long due for updating.

ask seller for demo, check viewing angle from all seat. My installer put thin aluminium at the roof as base to the monitor to make sure it didnt wobble. My monitor cap ayam brand only

any advice ?

depedn on your application, if you never expects 7 pax or 6 pax, persona wasn't a bad choice either. better safety feature.

I think you can start with how much is your budget.
From there you have a list of cars within your budget. Base on that, base on what you need (eg. family of how many ppl, use for what purpose, maintenance affordability etc), you can shortlist or cross out which one not fit.

If Alza (1.5) vs Persona (1.6) only...
1. Space - Alza definitely win.

2. Power - Persona has more power, but alza has better proven engine.

3. Safety - Persona has better 'chasis' and features.

4. Comfort - depends.. some said Persona better in noise insulation, some said Alza has comfort overall due to space avail.


Maybe relook at your budget, possible few more choices based on your requirement.

maintenance wise, alza win hands down.
