Dear Shi fu,
I just got my new alza SE last week.
Just found out radio do not provide CD player anymore.
Which is troublesome for my family.
A lot of kids CD can not play anymore.
(I tried ripped CD into usb, it is worked... But is a nightmare to select the correct mp3 in so many files in USB.)

Alternatively, I have a 1 din car CD player laying around in my house.
Anybody know if new alza SE radio have AUX input or audio jack? Is it hiding behind radio?

I want try to install my 1 din radio and give audio to radio through AUX in.

Since you know how to rip CDs, I suggest you copy the rips to your phone and connect your phone to the headunit via bluetooth.

The second facelift Alza S and SE variants share the same unit as the headunit found in the third generation Myvi 1.3 X and 1.5 H

Hi All, how's everyone??!

I found out that my Alza's brake switch not working properly.

first is that my car door will auto-lock when i pressed the brake pedal, but sometime works, sometime not.
Also that since I changed the 3rd brake light bulb to LED, i noticed that sometime it does not light up when braking.

It is dangerous where nothing light up when braking and it may caused hit from behind.

So last night took out the switch, disembled it into 4 parts, clean the internal and parts, lube it and assembled back. Tested working as normal now. Phew and will need to monitor it.

It is not door switch. This is Brake Switch, where press brake, brake light on.

I checked, it is not the caused by the door switch as the door switch is working fine. I understand your point.
My case here definately caused by brake switch which is cleaned and lubed. :>

ya.. that is why i am sharing my post initially.

The door switch, i do agree with you that it may caused autolock or cabin light not on. Brake switch is where to light up the BRAKE light (the 2 rear lamps in brake mode + 3rd brake light), this switch can be issue if it does not lit up even u press brake. It is simple cleaning and lubing. Worst case just change the switch for about RM20 estimated.

So be aware.. last time in P2 SC, they have like check list to ensure all lights are good, not sure if now still practise.

the item located under the steering. you can follow the brake pedal, go up and you can see a switch something like the below image.

halo. yes using 195/55/15.

I normally put 32psi (front) and 31psi (rear) as normally just my daughter sitting behind. If feel too hard, 31psi for all seems okay.
32psi is my tyre mechanic recommended to me back then in PJ.
if carrying more ppl, 32psi would be ok.

*the ori spec for 185/60 is 33psi as per the sticker at the driver side door.

hi guys, i am likely switching over to the exora camp soon. PM me if anyone is keen on my 2017 Alza Advance which has super low (less than 15k) mileage on it currently. Very under utilise as we only use it on weekends or only for road trips.

original tyre is 185/55. the recommended pressure is 33 psi which i think it's a bit too stiff. do remember 33 psi is cold reading. the tyre pressure can increase up to 4 psi after a long drive in a hot afternoon.

Yes, you are right that 33 is the recommended. I tried before, seems too hard especially when things gets hotter.

have been using 32 since long time ago and tyre wear is okay.

Best to recheck when there are upcoming trip with more ppl at the rear seats and when travelling.
