there are free one's as i've heard of..still cant find it... well..basicly... u dial ur streamyx..then u dial the vpn connection...so u will have a new ip(correct me if im wrong) and then u can bypass the throtteling..

i think my limewire on my mac got problem (i connect directly to dsl-g604T via cable)... i have no prob download audio or program..but when come to download movie (100mb), the speed is tremendous slow... only 2kb/s.. is it normal? i have no firewall turn on...

for now i stick to Ares...Limewire speed like snail since 2 months ago

LimeWire consume more memory to process tats y its slow... I m now using Ares and realli sometime its realli crack my head on the movie i want coz Ares result showing little or none of them share this movie at all... sigh ... really screamyx sometime!!!

Last time i used to download stuffs wif limewire but all of a sudden i can't connect to limewire d so i changed to ares and it worked perfectly but after a month or two i can't connect to ares again... until now i'm having tis problem. can someone help me pls?

Guys do u know wads wrong with my Ares downloader? It can connect but couldnt download a thing. I left it online for 10hours but the transfer page shows that the things that i want to download is 0%!!!!! I oledi check everything and it isnt paused.. i even put exception on Windows Firewall.

You are not alone. Recently we can't establish a connection to international peers, only some from USA could connect though.

not only torrent slow... download with rapidshare also slow since earthquake...

, lucky for me, both �Torrent and Ares works fine, just downloaded a 700MB file, and finished 10 hrs later (30KBps~50KBps), and regarding Ares, from my XP, sometimes you can't connect is because some AV (ZoneAlarm) think one of the Ares's core file is a threat, therefore, quarantined and consequent from that... you can't get online...

my Ares seems to be connecting forever. any other similar program please recommend

It is normal, even I experience this problem. We can only connect to peers from certain countries.
