Hi guys, i've been assigned by my university to organize an educational trip to any computer factory around Malaysia.

Location does not matter as long as it's in Malaysia.

Anyone have any suggestions of good places to visit or experiences they might want to share?

Must be a factory where visitors are allowed to enter its production buildings. We want to see how the computer parts are made, the design process flow and so on.

Doesn't matter if the factory produces computer chips, hard drives, laptops or so on. As long as it's related to computers then it's okay.

not sure whether you asked in the right place but I been to one of plant where PCB assembly is done,they have about 30 assembly lines for SMT they do a lot of PCB assembly for Japanese MNC

not sure whether they could accommodate student visit as I went there for site visit and meeting at that time

have you tried other companies such as NXP (formerly Freescale),and those around PJ industrial zone?
