A newbie reporting in , currenly have 2 small heli to learn the CP and FP microhelicopter.

I'm currently flying NEON FP and Compy300 CP2 . I'm avoiding esky because my sifu told me esky helicopter require extensive mod before it's can fly well.

I seldom fly now after i transfer to work Ipoh . I bought the compy v2 directly from HK since no seller here until recently my sifu begin starting selling Compy v2. Below is the photo of Compy 300 V2. My sifu always fly at Bandar tun hussein on every weekend morning.He's very friendly and helpful guy and i think he's only flyer's capable fly 3D with small heli.

BTHO very popular with small helicopter especially 300class Micro Helicopter from beginner up to 3D flying style.

Avoid esky king2 RTF at any cost..That king2 much much harder to fly.

BTHO flying site also got walkera small helicopter.

just want to share info about honeybee fp2 , some of the beginner really doubt does FP2 really well.Here's the photo was taken while my sifu flying esky FP2 fully stock except the super landing skid mod.

Maybe you can upgrade your HBFP2 with Guru-Z NEON Fiber frame . It's look very nice and sturdy as well.

If i not mistaken the fiber frame around rm 75.00 . The advantage of this fiber frame you can upgrade it become belt-drive later instead power by motor. oh, sorry for your 4in1 controller burn , i think my sifu last time got stock 3in1 controller so i think he might able help you. He also got plenty of parts of HBFP2 ..

I saw my sifu posted his FP2 photo , so addicted and finally bought the HBFP2 but now i fly NEON FP . The photo was taken at BTHO ,so i guess he's still fly at BTHO .Quite sometime liao i did'nt meet my sifu to get more tips from him..

I think my sifu fly NEON FP / Compy FP now . He's one of best r/c pilot at BTHO who capable fly small helicopter 3D some more . If you going on sunday probably you will see him.

How is your HBFP2 4in1 controller, repair or replace with new one ? Yesterday i make some order of Compy v2 part as so i also ask him whether he still got the 3in1 controller . My sifu said still got few unit left and pricing at roughly less than rm 100. He said you can use back your RX section and re-attach with 3in1 controller.

If you looking for HBFP2 part , i think my sifu still stocking some part . Maybe you can look on his online store.

my sifu online shop -> shop.my-rcflyin.com . My sifu also mod his HBFP2 power by brushless motor. If i not wrong you have to remove the portion of your 4in1 controller and just retain the rx section only . I think my sifu can give you more information about the 4in1 controller.

Added on May 25, 2009, 4:17 pmnot all sifu are friendly . i still remember i bring my HBFP2 to flying site and ask some advice to setup and fly it , he look at my HBFP2 like this .later he said this heli cannot fly just wasted your time only so disappointed.

After that incident i dont dare bring my FP2 to flying site except my sifu around there .

Don't waste money on brushless tail motor , convert it to belt drive.

as i know my sifu don't a shop at the moment , but he always fly BTHO.I always met him at BTHO to get properly setup my compy v2 .

My sifu always recommend a beginner go for FP helicopter to reduce learning cost.However he told me he was badly bashed in local forum everytime he mentioned this. Yup , you are right not every one can afford spend 2-3k at one time to involve this hobby . My sifu give me some idea how to setup and fly FP2 and i think some other sifu not willing to teach you especially in their's mind FP helicopter is a junk.

I personally saw my sifu flew his stock FP2 with smooth figure 8 and counter figure 8.

My sifu always fly small heli i don't think he join those nitro gang. I guess you probably see him flying his compy v2 because yesterday he was there too....

I not so sure about this , his nickname is masterfx.
