QUOTE(yeeck06 @ May 26 2009, 11:45 AM) Get those with good holding grip screw driver that come with cushion or rubber grip handle. It grips tighter and holds better. I get one #00 size screw driver (180mm long) to loosen the collar screw when I changed the inner shaft for my lama v4. I can't remember the brand liao, price RM8 per piece. eerr ... u know how small the screw on the 4G3 ??i am using those screwdrivers they use for spectacles one oso ngam ngam enuff only .. sommo have to use the smaller sizes one any bigger oso cannot i think i have to get another set of those screwdrivers la .. coz need to hold the screw from both sides ok la ... u wanna make your LAMA faster .. read this http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=727689 the parts u really have to go search for it laa .. hehehe |

Anyway, thanks for the link! So by changing to the longer servo horn, the fwd/rev and left/right will become faster and more responsive. But hor I’m still learning how to fly my v4 with the original setting and already used to it liao so if I modify my v4 now, I may crash my heli against a wall, tv etc in my living room lor….because too sensitive and fast mah…hehe. But I will mod it when I master my v4. I just got my extreme blade from RC smart. Ordered on Sunday, received this morning, so fast! I will install it tonight and hopefully there is an improvement. those servo horns u know where to get or not ?? so far i have only seen that shop selling it ... usd2.60 i think .. hehehe This post has been edited by QiW: May 26 2009, 03:09 PM |

QUOTE(cliffang83 @ May 27 2009, 12:33 PM) if u can fly your TREX quite well then i think it should not be too much prob for u laait actually is a damm nice heli if got skills as for me .. i can only hover it for about 4-5 secs b4 abit of wind start making me lose control and crash into something ... hahahaha NEWBIE ma me ... and the 4G3 is my 1st CP heli oso my 1st single rotor heli ... last time is coaxial ... that one tara kira one la can fly handsfree .. hahahahaa tip ... when/if u purchase the 4G3 and wanna have an easier time .. dont use the stock blades coz they break very easily when u crash unless u flying over crash and blades dont hit anything .. the stock blades oso make the heli more sensitive coz its very light i am using the wooden one slightly heavier which makes the heli a little less sensitive to control .. hehehe and oso check the tail motor constantly to make sure the gear meshes nicely or else u might suddenly spin out .. hahahaha .. this one small prob only la coz everything can press press and turn by hand ... no need tools .. hehehe Added on May 27, 2009, 1:02 pmps .. if u are already flying a CP well .. dont worry about wind coz it can handle our malaysian NORMAL wind no probs coz i have seen ppl in real life fly it outside beside main road with strong wind ... SKILL required la of coz This post has been edited by QiW: May 27 2009, 01:02 PM |

QUOTE(maryjane9996 @ May 27 2009, 01:37 PM) uniquexme oso play planes ... wait for him to postAdded on May 27, 2009, 1:50 pm QUOTE(cliffang83 @ May 27 2009, 01:34 PM) Thanks for the info. hmmm ... sounds good and value for $$$ ... heheheTry putting more weight to the flybar to make it more stable. I've tried out my charger on charging the ESKY 1800mAh 20C Lipo. After charge @ 1.7A for 72mins. I checked the voltage of each cell rated at 4.16v each. Nice isn't it? Basically, this charger is just like the normal Lipo charger which they inserted an adapter into the casing. Quite happy with it. weight on flybar ... heard and read that alot liau .. could not find anything that clips/attach on the flybar tight for now for the time being heavier blades will have to do lorr no matter .. i will persevere with the 4G3 ... i believe i can do it ... hopefully without too much cost to spare parts and down time i think i will have to order another round of stuff online coz now i know what i break mostly liau ... hahahaha This post has been edited by QiW: May 27 2009, 01:50 PM |

QUOTE(yeeck06 @ May 27 2009, 02:06 PM) Sifu, I need your advice on how to fly the 6 channels heli. on a CP ... your lift is controlled by both the speed of the blades and the pitch of the blades ... hence COLLECTIVE PITCHFor coaxial and fixed pitch (4#3B) 4 channels helicopter, when we push up the stick of the transmitter, the speed of the rotor will increase, the blade will turn faster and produce more lift. How about the collective pitch 6 channels helicopter (4G3)? How you control the amount of lift to your heli? Push up the stick and adjust the toggle switch at the same time? How if I want to make my heli turn upside down? Do you have any link showing how to use transmitter on 6 channels heli. Thanks. u can set up the angle/pitch/speed of your blades on your TX .. u can read and learn more here >>> http://www.rcheliwiki.com/Main_Page lots of info with popular hardware for u to digest if u can .. hahahahaa Added on May 27, 2009, 2:43 pm QUOTE(uniquexme @ May 27 2009, 02:07 PM) yes allan, ur item dispatching today oh.... bugger .. u LUMBA HARAM kaki laa .. haaahahaaaplanes, not much, i only have 3 units of GWS mustang in my store. forgot to mention oso ...
for the 4G3 ... once u sifoo it already .. then stock blades are the best to perform 3D stuff la ... thats what i read otherwise while in training mode ... use heavy blades for slower cyclic response ... hahaha |

go to youtube and search for 4G3 ... see how it can easily fly outside provided u have the SKILL laaa ...
and there are alot of upgrades for it oso .. hehehehe for the time being uniquexme site has the best price already .. dont even bother searching for better price coz i know .. his is the version 2 with brushless and metal head anyways .. i have finished fixing up my 4G3 .. will resist flying in the house tonite .. will take to store with BIGGER empty space tomoro and test test .. so far everything look good .. swash level .. minimum tracking prob .. might just have a little balancing prob coz using blades that crashed .. hahahahahaaaa |
