this 450 PRO is long term learn to build and then only fly project la ... hahahahaa

but in the mean time ... i will be fooling around with my small 4G3 ccpm
tonite go back fix it ... then try to fly it ... then prolly will crash ... then will let u guys know la .. hahahahahaha

farks ... repaired the 4G3 just now .. hovered and hit something again !!!
should not be hovering in a house with furnitures laa ... hahaha

this time stripped blade holder .. die .. the super small philip screws damm kow hard to turn ... let alone turn one side and hold the other side of the feathering shaft ...

is that the normal procedure ?? hold 1 side of the screw of the feathering shaft and turn the other side to remove blade holders ??
is there a trick to it one ah ?? my philip screwdrivers oso abit too big .. need to go buy smaller and more precise ones tomoro . haiizzz

i am usihg the ones that comes in a box set one (6 mini screwdrivers inside) ... buy at hardware shop for rm5.50 one

am starting to get the hang of hovering the 4G3 abit .. am able to hover it for about 5 secs for it starts to go 1 direction with wind pushing it
scared to counter the wind too much coz no space for it to run in the house .. hehehe

will try to look for those really good REALLY SMALL screwdriver laa

those servo horns u know where to get or not ??
so far i have only seen that shop selling it ... usd2.60 i think .. hehehe

that one is based on the spec given by that link ... u may try other brands or makes of servo horns see whether the gears and diameter fit or not laaa

if u can fly your TREX quite well then i think it should not be too much prob for u laa
it actually is a damm nice heli if got skills

as for me .. i can only hover it for about 4-5 secs b4 abit of wind start making me lose control and crash into something ... hahahaha
NEWBIE ma me ... and the 4G3 is my 1st CP heli oso my 1st single rotor heli ... last time is coaxial ... that one tara kira one la can fly handsfree .. hahahahaa

tip ... when/if u purchase the 4G3 and wanna have an easier time .. dont use the stock blades coz they break very easily when u crash unless u flying over crash and blades dont hit anything .. the stock blades oso make the heli more sensitive coz its very light
i am using the wooden one slightly heavier which makes the heli a little less sensitive to control .. hehehe
and oso check the tail motor constantly to make sure the gear meshes nicely or else u might suddenly spin out .. hahahaha .. this one small prob only la coz everything can press press and turn by hand ... no need tools .. hehehe

Added on May 27, 2009, 1:02 pmps .. if u are already flying a CP well .. dont worry about wind coz it can handle our malaysian NORMAL wind no probs coz i have seen ppl in real life fly it outside beside main road with strong wind ... SKILL required la of coz

weight on flybar ... heard and read that alot liau .. could not find anything that clips/attach on the flybar tight for now
for the time being heavier blades will have to do lorr

no matter .. i will persevere with the 4G3 ... i believe i can do it ... hopefully without too much cost to spare parts and down time
i think i will have to order another round of stuff online coz now i know what i break mostly liau ... hahahaha

on a CP ... your lift is controlled by both the speed of the blades and the pitch of the blades ... hence COLLECTIVE PITCH
u can set up the angle/pitch/speed of your blades on your TX ..

forgot to mention oso ...
for the 4G3 ... once u sifoo it already .. then stock blades are the best to perform 3D stuff la ... thats what i read
otherwise while in training mode ... use heavy blades for slower cyclic response ... hahaha

ok ... i got totally frustrated with trying to unscrew the feathering shaft of the 4G3 .. so i totally used 2 pliers and broke the shaft
i think factory either overtightened or overdosed of loctite on the screws

good thing i order some shafts and blade holders .. hahahahaa

will try to assemble it back tonite and see if i crash again .. hahahaha

go to youtube and search for 4G3 ... see how it can easily fly outside provided u have the SKILL laaa ...
and there are alot of upgrades for it oso .. hehehehe

for the time being uniquexme site has the best price already .. dont even bother searching for better price coz i know .. his is the version 2 with brushless and metal head

anyways .. i have finished fixing up my 4G3 .. will resist flying in the house tonite .. will take to store with BIGGER empty space tomoro and test test .. so far everything look good .. swash level .. minimum tracking prob .. might just have a little balancing prob coz using blades that crashed .. hahahahahaaaa
