Just went to see 1.8L version. The first impression is that the fabric is horrible, worst than the softer and smoother touched fabric on the City. All the touched area like armrest and door handle with that fabric makes it doesn't looks like over 100k car.

Even the leather on steering wheel doesn't seem can take any beating in long run.

And the steering wheel's button feels cheaper than City, the clicked feels hollow and fragile.  rclxub.gif

The exterior looks is gorgeous, just the interior quality in the 1.8L is horrid.

think you should be at the hater thread? biggrin.gif Anyway, if you don't like the fabric then take the TC variant which give you leather seat... cool2.gif

See the video..

Hope my boss not lurking in this thread.
Took an MC today - To settle the tint job, modified plate number and change side marker from yellow to white bulb also for old car went for a new sticker.
Quite a damage today but overall very satisfied.
*
Change side marker from yellow to white bulb? Which bulb you use? And you DIY?

For those turbo owner, any problem so far with the car? Still deciding to take 1.8 or 1.5..
*
My 2 cents of thought, 1.8 because I doubt HM ability to fix any issues occur to TC engine.

When u say worried, what u mean? Any potential prob?

It was just my perceptions and 2 cents of thought on HM, my 2 elder brother used to be Honda supporter and first car they bought was Honda Accord and Civic respectively but both of them cannot tahan the issues on HM (Accord - power steering oil leaking issues and had been spending couple 10 thousands - unresolved, Civic - Contantly having suspension issues, need to tighten all the nuts and screws every service, but HM never do for him. He need to go to outside workshop to do it)

Due to those issues, they switch to Toyata and never look back and me too. But recently years Toyota had been too arrogant and their car design really outdated but proven they are the more most reliable car in Malaysia.

So, if you've decided to get Civic then again very simple logic if you like more powerful engine then go for 1.5 TCP, else 1.8, simple as that !

ps. Go ask Honda hardcore fans especially CRV and accord users... they will tell you more about how HM and SC screwed up their nice cars !

Folks,

I don't understand why Malaysia variant does not have RDS in our head unit - radio. Should we wright a official petition to honda or am i wrong about this? As i had confirmed with others members that we do not have RDS features.

Even Proton have the RDS on their radio unit and it's really ashamed that Civic cost as mush as double and full of infotainment HU does not have a simple RDS feature?

that 1 not signal light, it should be safety light

Its called side marker, it was a safety lights for let others to notice you when there are on the side, as normally if you see your can in straight side way then you won't be able to see clearly in very dark environment.

Sorry re-post. first pic is 1.8 then 1.5TC. 1.5 has more premium aluminium material vs 1.8 and 1.5TC surrounding the meter area is silver color vs black plastic on 1.8
*
Haha, i just noticed this... anyway i think we can use some better 3D sticker to stick it if i don't like the original black color....
