Bro Josh, frm my experience, u can told SA dont wipe or clean the car for u before delivery. Coz during transit the car frm factory, the car will get pretty dirty. SA usually will ask some foreigner worker to wipe the car before pass it to u (I saw that). I kinda regret i didnt do so, lots of scratches all over my car including the instrument meter transparent cover because of the improper way of cleaning. After signed, they wont acknowledge anything dy. Unless you are going to do some coating then is fine. No need to bother about this as coating process involved polishing work which will solve this problem. But ofcoz, the car inspection during delivery is better if it is in cleans state over the dusty state. Congrate to u btw. Enjoy your car. 😆
*
Yes Mine also few scratches on the instrument meter and gear shit area. Haiz. No choice still have to accept after complained to SA.

7" screen also very sensitive to scratches. Really need to be careful. Mine few scratches after wipe with wet microfiber cloth. May be tiny sand stick on the cloth. sad.gif

Just curious. I find that civic turbo engine sound is very loud when really accelerate and rev more than 2.5k. Normal cruising is quiet. Is it normal for most turbo cars like Peugeot,VW,BMW,MB etc? Civic is my first turbo car that i have driven so I cant compare.

Thanks

My friend drives BMW 535i which is twin turbo and I can say its very quiet even on high speed ... the RPM is pretty low on high speed -> (160km/h) and the RPM is at around 2k to 2.5k only ohmy.gif If I recollect correctly  sweat.gif but then again its a 3.0 liter twin turbo car so yea, I don't think it should be compared to civic haha  laugh.gif

back to your question = its very quiet on BMW
*
Don't get me wrong. civic turbo under normal acceleration and cruising even above 2500rpm or > 130kmh is quiet. Loud engine noise only when u really accelerate hard or floor it where turbo kick in for max power. Noise should be from the turbo. Once release the pedal, everything quiet again. biggrin.gif

I don't know the actual performance on both llumar diamond 6 and raytech RX, but base on both spec, raytech RX is slightly better than llumar diamond 6. That's why I will choose raytech RX.
*
rclxms.gif The same reason with me, slightly better spec & better price.(about 2-2.3k). So far satisfied with heat rejection of Raytech RX & RC (IRR 98%, TSER 62%) & good workmanship.

Also recommended by my boss Raytech for all his cars (Macan, Evoque, GLC), I believe top brands like Vcool, Llumar, Raytech, Vkool, Huper Optic are well established and should be good & comparable smile.gif

u get Ultra 70 + RX with price RM2k to RM2.3k?? so damn cheap... They quote me RM2800. sad.gif
*
One remember one of the member here got it for only 2k cash. My best offer was 2.5k and my SA help me to arrange at only 2.2k smile.gif. Ask your SA help you arrange.. I believe they have contacts with tinted shops and can get much cheaper price

Bro, i havent driven a car, conti or japs which doesnt roar when u kick down. Its an engine for heaven sake  laugh.gif

When revving high, a NA and turbo engine will sound exactly the same unless the latter is fitted with waste gate.

The civic on kick down is still pretty quiet due to its excellent NVH. Some would prefer the roar as it sounded quite alright.
*
Yes i know. But it is much louder than NA engine when kick down. Anyway im ok with the sound. Feel sporty with the roar.. brows.gif

Does anyone here facing headlight moisture problem for both  headlight?  Yes.  Both left and right headlight. Feeling disappointed with their ckd assembly.

The carpet clip were went missing as well.
For those yet to collect yr brand new car. Pls include in yr checklist.

Lastly,  i founnd out air conditioning is not cool enough by activated remote start engine(i was compared under the normal circumference which is press push start button and switch ON the air-cond as usual). I felt warm blowing air instead of cool air.  Anyone experience this?
Apart from above,  overall is great car i would said.

Problem is. It took almost 48hours to dry out and turn to normal.  bangwall.gif

Mine dry the next morning. My moisture lesser than yours. Frz you are using Mi5 white? lol im using the same phone & the same lunar silver. so same fate... biggrin.gif joking..

My moisture problem getting lesser now. May be because car under hot sun and rubber soften and seal the gap? hmm just guessing. Will monitor and see else will complain on my 1000k service. Went through Mazda 3 forum. many of them kena this moisture problem also....

Can write email to CEO also no use, unless it's reported in mainstream like the takata issue or the be emission issue...
I can accept there is issue, but I kenot tahan the tidak apa attitude...u not happy so what, we got a lot of people buying our car and a lot more people come to Service...then they say I'm just a worker...aren't you also given the responsibility to ensure that the customers issues are resolved?
Very bad experience with SC in PJ, konon near the HQ of HM M'sia office, so the technical people are very up to date in training but the attitude of looking the urgency in the cases is very disappointing...
They forget, now we don't have a choice because the car was just bought, but after this, not gonna buy HM products
Look at all the fallen giants and learn from there...

Mine avg 9km/l...jam all the way to office and back home. distance probably 7 to 8 km. oil life sucks too...800km mileage and oil life is 8400km
*
Yeah me too avg about 9km/l only, daily jam bumper to bumper to office and back home. Oil life drop 2x faster vs actual mileage. Meaning have to change engine oil every 5000km or less shakehead.gif

Dude, Consider to keep it with RON97 to minimize the carbon deposit on intake valve? DI engine need extra care.
In Malaysia, RON95 is euro 2 grade, and RON97 is euro4 grade, meaning RON97 is much more cleaner.
Below is some link for the reason behind.

Yes. If really pump RON 95, go for BHP with euro 3-4 grade. I always pump BHP RON 95.

"During the launch of Infiniti Advanced2X petrol, available in both the RON95 and RON97, James Khoo, BHPetrol's retail and supply director revealed that the sulphur content in BHPetrol's fuel are on average 75 percent lower than the Euro 2M standard mandated by Malaysian authorities.

James said the actual sulphur content may differ slightly from one shipment to another, but they will never exceed 200 ppm (parts per million), which is still well below the Euro 2M standard of 500 ppm.

On certain shipments, they may even go as low as 12 ppm, which is already approaching the Euro 5 standard of 10 ppm"

Thanks a lot. Yes, I have set mind to go for WOP.. but... sitll confuse to see those colors..
Lunar Silver, is kind of tricky color, i would go happily for brighter silver if they have..

The lunar silver, sometimes look not nice for this car....overall WOP wins.. but also look old in that WOP.
*
Yes Lunar Silver looks great with sunlights, on darker area, car will look like grey. a bit dull.

Best for Lunar silver is even is dirty, you cant really see. Still looks good. But for White, have to really wash very often especially on rainy days.

I chose Silver because my car 24 hours park outside.. no regret. biggrin.gif

I went to my SC to rectify the issue, they claim it to be a natural wear and tear process and it would affect all cars eventually. Issue sorted out after minor adjustments to the brake pedal but they told me the problem would return eventually.

I call BS for wear and tear as an excuse on a 2 month old+ car

Got the quick guide of the owners manual amended as well

Wondering do we still have the HIP special benefits if we renew our insurance our own from 2nd year onward? I think 10% discount if owner walk in and renew.

I felt in love with this car design when I saw it for the 1st time live. Before that it was all online and YouTube channel. I was actually looking at Mazda 3 and Altis beginning of this year. Thank god I waited for that 6 months for this car to launch in Malaysia. It is sad that HM remove some important stuff & spec in this car compare with overseas model but I was happy with the car look and drive. For me the overall car is just beautiful to look at, My fav portion is the side and back view. Like the picture attach. And yes the ass looks bloody awesome at night.  biggrin.gif
*
Yeah me too.. almost book the Mazda 3 early this year but decided to wait for civic. Love at first sight when i saw the actual car previewed at The Mines. thumbup.gif . This morning met the girls working next to my office. They said "hei your new car really nice, cannot believe is a civic.. looks even better than your bosses car" (that actually park in front of my car one row). Btw my bosses drive latest Porsche Macan & BMW X6 35i Msport.... speechless blink.gif impossible....
