Motor Image was never famous for good service, same thing in SG. They're just like typical china-man company with lots of horrible customer complaints in forum.
Most SG subaru owners would rather service their cars with pro-subaru workshops if not for retaining their warranty. I'm one of them.
Thats part of the thing to bear for owning a scooby in SEA region, since they're the sole authorized distributor here.

This and some sound proofing will help. No matter how, they're bound to have some wind noise.

my scooby over 200 wind noise getting louder... coz door rubber seal not good already...plus it was frameless window

not sure...coz speedo only shows 180...but needle way past beyond that...  and not really topspeed freak...usually just do mid speed cruising most of the time and some twist/turns fast pace driving...

If want better service, try to avoid MIPJ.. A lot of complains lodge due to poor service especially peak hours.. I believe they are understaffed and unable to serve the overwhelming customer to service their Xv and Forester.. Unless you are free during normal working day and able to oversee the progress..

Finally able to persuade my wife to get a Forester 2.0 i-P instead of the XV. Pay RM100 for deposit and loan 100% from Hong Leong bank. Booked from the new showroom in Taiping. Got extra 1k cash rebate as it's the promotion for their newly opening showroom. My wife was impressed with all the techs available on the Forester. We wanna book the 2.0 XT at 1st but the SA told us have to apply loan 1st then only can order from Japan after the loan was approved. So end up taking the 2.0i-P . Can wait to sign the documents and lay my butt in the front passenger with my wife on the wheels.

on highways then cruising at 110-120kmh then only can get around 9-9.5km/l

My WRX is spending a few days and hopefully not 2 weeks at Cheras SC. I found the front diff leaking and I'm kinda upset about it. The leak came from the connection between the flywheel and the front diff. Car is close to 20K on mileage. Also complain about the brake fluid servo cap have brake fluid stain seems like the brake fluid gush out from the cap O-ring. 

SA shared with me that about 2-3 XV already had the front diff leaking issue how true I'm not sure but he will submit the warranty claim ASAP. I ask if I can get the car back before CNY.

I'm upset because they are going to dismantle the front diff+transmission and being such a new car it really hurts me and my wife use this car majority of the time so she's gonna miss it too. Hope the technician would do a proper and good job after the fix everything back and no more further problems so that my wife and I can enjoy the car again.

Yup CBU, well things can go wrong doesn't matter if it's CBU or CKD. My battery also died in November. Car only at 18K mileage when it die I changed the battery myself because if need to claim then need to tow to SC which is a real hassle. Consider yourself lucky at least your more than mine by 2K mileage. Hahahaha

At MI JB, major service (for XV) normally will take 1 day (9am to 2-3pm normally).  So they will not accept service booking of major service for Saturday coz Sat is half day only.  My 100k km service is due some time next month, my last free service (labour+parts). 

Not really go and check coz it is FOC for me. 

That must be for certain part replacement. The standard service from Subaru as shown previously in this forum was RM1685 (including labor)

The most is at 40k (and every 40k after that) which is RM2217.

if its not in warranty, and you're in Johor, cross border and visit one of those Subaru Specialist in SG, i had mine done using all genuine parts (water pump + tensioner + all recommended parts during timing belt change + labour) for less than RM3k.

ah.... one of my dream car, especially the Wagon BR9...
