Hi mazda3 fans,

I like to know is it normal for color variance between bumper n body. My case is White color on HB model. The variance is noticeable with eyes white n slight yellowish white.

Any input appreciated.
*
all color has this problem, one of the reason is because bumper and body is spray with different bucket of paint so reduce manufacturing time so will notice some color difference

M3 is considered EEV when launch, CBU is 10k more expensive compare to CKD, not sure if this can be consider EEV incentive as well

just booked a 3 HS (aluminium metallic) after for long period of conflict betwen GL and HS...

finger crossed everything approved soon

may i ask what is the tint most of you all go for? install in SC or those independent tint dealers?
*
You won't regret getting a HS, the extra features really worth the price

I go outside to install the tint, sc not giving us good tint also

For tint..I see most owners here are optimg for Llumar and 3M which cost around 2-3k from SC or is there any other alternatives? Seen groupon some shop in kepong offer Llumar for 488?? But quite doubtful tho for the difference
*
488 for all window? probably fake tint or lowest end tint for windscreen only

Forgive me if i sound el cheapo but wondering why there is so much difference?
*
already sold out, sound too good to be true la

if you want cheap can look for CannyCool tint, but most of the owners here settle for reputable brand

QUOTE(inzaghi84 @ Aug 30 2016, 11:55 AM)
hello, any blue reflex mica owner here? can share some pictures?  still deciding between grey & blue biggrin.gif
*
i think there is only 1 blue mica owner in skyactiv club, not as attractive as the other color and the color look old to me

saw a titanium flash yesterday, it has a very nice gold brown color, so far i only saw like 3 units on the road

Suddenly so many people looking to buy m3 rclxm9.gif

Last time I only get 1.5k rebate and I didn't take the tint offer since I opt for better choice outside

If can get 3k rebate should be very good already, maybe can try to ask for some freebies instead and not to mention the features that come with this car, I doubt you can find it from other cars with this price range

quite a lot of member claimed from sc, sc allowed one time claim even though already more than 1 year or 20k mileage, as long as still in 3 years warranty thumbup.gif

i'm using SG5, it cost me around RM950, but that is half a year ago, not sure about the price now

QUOTE(doddie @ Sep 1 2016, 05:07 PM)
I am one of the new owners of Mazda 3. My initial choice will be whether I get the new Civic or Mazda 3, and at the end I went for Mazda 3. The reason behind is M3 has already been in the market for 2 years and so far I didn't hear any serious/major technical complaints about it. As for the new Civic, I have heard complaints here and there.....therefore I got the 'not-so-up-to-date car', rather than a 'latest Lemon'.
*
civic/seaweed/ketam 0-100 is faster than m3 by 1 sec though tongue.gif

skyactiv engine and skyactiv drive is more advance that other C segment in the same price range even till today icon_rolleyes.gif

QUOTE(Vinceyang @ Sep 1 2016, 11:51 PM)

But for sedan is there any impact towards this recall. Sorry im new to mazda 3 as i just got my mazda 3 HS 2 days back.

Feel worried on this case
*
i've seen m3 sedan CBU owner driven more than 80k mileage and the car has no issue aside from normal servicing, wear and tear part replacement

the first day i get my m3 HS i already redline the engine and driven until now no problem too

the one with engine ecu problem is skyactiv-D, we are skyactiv-G

and we use spring for sedan boot, only hatchback and some SUV use damper to hold the door in place to prevent the door falling down when open

I already send my car to the SC. Waiting quotation for the replaced parts. Expect more than 5k due to bumper, foglight, signal light and headlight need to be replaced.
Asking for SA advice on how to claim insurance since this is due to own negligance.
No pic taken bro. Don't want to keep bad memories. Hahaha.
But it is inside my wife phone. Later after I'm cooled down  I will ask for it.
*
i thought if got pic can show us then can give suggestion whether to fix it in sc, claim insurance or fix it outside

QUOTE(Lucasadu @ Sep 3 2016, 08:00 PM)
went to Glenmarie today and can discount 2k + 500 tinit voucher.

Also they have few 2014 manufactured sedan HS model left which can discount up to 6k.

its quite tempting, been thinking about this.

What is the cons of get a 2014 model?
The only thing i know is the deprecation in 2nd hand value, if i want to sell if off in future.

Is there other cons about this?

Also, i have ask a few SA frm different branch before i go to Glenmarie, some give 1.5k rebate with full tint, some is 1k with voucher, some say can give 2.5k with tint and coating voucher (but dunno the value yet).

The more i ask, the more confuse i am.
*
the tint they apply might be low end tint that offer very less heat rejection and VLT is very high

2014 car is not worth the 6k rebate, 2014 HS market price should be around 100k since our car value depreciate faster than H and T

Found a supplier for EFB battery suitable for our i-stop. Price is RM600

https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/3860476/all

If use normal battery any effect on our car other than losing i-stop function?
*
so far i dont think anyone has tried it before, some said it might put too much load on the alternator and cause premature wear to the alternator

Ya, check on a well known 2nd hand car website, 2014 or 2015 model, at least depreciate 30k.
if i bought a 2014 model even it is new one, with rebate of 6k, its really buang money to sea  shakehead.gif
*
if you are keeping the car for a long time like 7-10 years then no need care about resale value la, but the thing is we dont know how they keep the 2014 car for 2 years, if everyday under the sun and rain without shelter then the paint and interior going to degrade faster than usual, and also engine that doesn't start and run frequently also will give problem in long run

*
2016 already 19k mileage? shocking.gif

check the car inside out, left and right up and down

94k HS is damn worth it, and m3 is relatively problem free

is it the battery warranty also is 3 years like the car?
*
1st battery change can claim from sc for free, then you have 1 year warranty from the battery manufacture, basically after the 1st battery claim from sc then you're on your own since battery hardly fail in a year

QUOTE(Monkey King @ Sep 5 2016, 10:12 PM)
Guys, our M3 having long bonnet/ front overhang hence making tight spot maneuvering a little tricky.

if lets say we are driving into parking (head in) , would SCBS kick in when we are a little too near to the wall or car beside??
*
if i'm not mistaken, it wont activate if your steering is has turned more than certain angle, same goes to i-stop, SCBS operation speed is 4-30km/h

if let's say you were to drive 4km/h and going to bang a pillar, there are chances that it will activate and stop the car inch before collision

but SCBS doesn't work well with non reflective surface like concrete pillars in parking and pedestrian
