I brought my insurance outside after 1 year. I think if you have a good insurance agent that are hard working and responsible, can consider buy from him.LYN Mazda 3 Owners/Fans Club V9, Zoom-Zoom w/ Kodo

QUOTE(amduser @ Nov 10 2016, 09:06 AM) just sharing with you guys, last week 3 m3 owners joined a touge session with other gang, got FD2R, swift sport, FT-86, celica and satria neo steel ball lol it was a fun drive to Kuala Klawang from Cheras driving through Titi town, curvy road all the way, the road is uneven and at some part of the road the tires cant grip properly causing uneven brake force due to uneven road, even though our m3 stock suspension handled it well but it is still dangerous, at higher speed i worry that i might crash to the hill despite FD2R being almost 2 gen behind, swift and neo having lower CC and smaller engine, they are way faster than us and quicker through the corner, but that's obvious since their driving skills is way better than me and their car is heavily modded while mine is just stock, but on straight road we can easily pull away on the lower CC NA cars at some part of the road i enter the turn with the wrong speed (too fast) and the rear tires lose grip, stability control kicks in and surprisingly it doesn't aggressively correct the course of the car, but instead it let the rear slide and gently adjust the car direction according to the direction i want, it happened in split second and the DSC really did a good job there [attachmentid=7997296] |

QUOTE(brandon8921 @ Nov 14 2016, 02:52 PM) This happen to CBU unit? or CKD unit? Is there anyway to solve this issue? Might book 1 before 2016 ends if nothing major issue... So far after 1 year I'm here in this thread. Ngek Ngek Kruk Kruk sound is on very high % of getting it. No perma fix as I know at the moment, I just ignore it until there are solution for it. Another common issue will be the Toyo tyre which are not really durable, % lower but quite some of the owner kena pregnant tyre, maybe some extra care needed on it. But this issue can be settle by changing them off. Beside that, still got 1 mirror tik sound on wind screen which also can be solved. Other than that, yet to have any major problem as I see for this M3 version. |

QUOTE(neospider @ Dec 28 2016, 09:47 AM) Hi, noob here. Check your service booklet. As I remember it stated there within 20k claimable.I went to a service centre in setapak just now and they mentioned there's no such thing as replacement of one time battery in the 3 year warranty. They say it is not covered under warranty and they need to charge for it. Is there such thing? Which serve centre offer free replacement ? Thank you in advance. |

Dear all, SC quoted me battery around 650. Wondering if change outside, they just need to swap it right? The infotainment will be reset? Or few minute gap is still ok?
I'm actually thinking should I went to SC for the battery or change outside. Thanks for your input. |

QUOTE(peace_lover @ May 5 2017, 03:00 PM) actually android auto and apple carplay is not only for convenient, it's part of the safety feature. Yea, you're right.as you are can use the voice control like siri or google assistant instead of holding your phone and text while driving. QUOTE(toonny @ May 5 2017, 04:02 PM) Phone also can use do it without them ma.. Previously there is tweaks for to install Android Auto on MZD. Useless I would say, Google maps is still not that good compare to Waze. Endup I uninstall the android auto, place the phone on the phone holder, use as it.. lagi best... I never try civic but honestly Mazda 3 is good for 2 person ride or 4. And the trunk is really not that big, 2 big luggage and that's it. Anyhow still love my M3 as it's really fun to drive. To text or not to text while driving, it's all up to the driver. Even you have the android auto or carplay, one would still will plays the phone if he / she has the will to do it.. Honestly, if you're looking for a comfort, spacious ride, just go with the Civic.. The Mazda is only good for people who really appreciates the driving dynamic, the fun to drive. You will hate the tyre noise when speeding, the poorly insulated cabin will just always kena ejek by your passenger if they mean to compare with other car... And "why your car so small one~" hahaha... oh by the way, go test drive the new Mazda with GVC.. Given the same course, same condition during test drive at Setia Alam, the difference in handling between the 3 and Civic really blows me away... Seriously you can feel the different on G vectoring? Man, wish that I could go and feel it myself. |

QUOTE(silrave @ May 9 2017, 12:17 PM) Oh Haha, every car also need maintenace. Depends on what you want. Not get from 2nd hand dealer ? I read lot review All also said the Bush giving sound It can't be solve? Haha I saw car list old model got 1.6 Hahaha you say this I not dare le Since the maintenance so expensive QUOTE(toonny @ May 9 2017, 01:35 PM) Maintenance giving you problem? Normal service also more or less 200 - 300, depends on what Engine oil you want to use (I mean after warranty, you can do it outside). Standard what.. Haha, no Mather what have to prepare for it. Battery, yes. Start-Stop battery is a pain and seems it doesn't last long compare with normal battery. Life span macam around 1 year to 1 year 6 months then giving up already. Cost around RM 500. Tire, 18 inches. There are so many choices out there. Price range starting 350 - 700 also got. Choose yourself. What else? Brake pad, around 300 ++ for front pads, 200++ for rear pads. Regarding the bushes, no comment. Since I got replacement from SC and no more weird noise up to now from the bushes. But some member still face this issue, no idea what happened. 1.6 is previous gen, doesn't have skyactiv. Unless what you aiming is the previous gen, then I have no idea what could be the maintenance cost.. Until now I just have to pay for my battery and wiper. The only things change at sc is my bearing. |
