Just wanna add, its all about the politics! And it stinks!

Bernie to sign the contract only if Generalitat Valenciana party wins the election is a mere manipulation of that country's politics!

Worst of all, i heard that the party that is dealing with Bernie is a conservative one, and the competition of the election is said to be very tight. Now with all the Valencia GP going on, i doubt that there will be any competition left.

Ugliness is all i can say. mad.gif

If this is so, i demand the San Marino GP back in the calendar!

lol... no more air turbulence tongue.gif

virgil : the san marino circuits' pit complex is still under construction, right?
*
It was taken off completely for the 2007 season. And i dont think it is under construction, maybe there is.... due to frequency of accidents that happen there and the history behind it.

But one thing for sure, it initiates the 1 country 1 GP. So if Spain were to have the Valencia GP, then that means that there is some conspiracy going on..

Then will San Marino GP be back? If yes then Italy will be hosting 2 GP as well... so basically Valencia in Spain is nothing wrong right?

Could the Macca be testing on low fuel and the Ferraris sandbagging for the test?

Hey guys, i wanted to clear some rumor floating around the net on the new McLaren rear wings...

McLaren's Flexing Wings

If the wing are really flexing downwards, then how in the world did they pass the FIA test before letting it loose on the circuit?!

Strategies to come into play

QUOTE
May 12 (GMM) Lewis Hamilton and Kimi Raikkonen may both be out of place on the grid for Sunday's Spanish grand prix.

The duo qualified behind their respective McLaren and Ferrari teammates at the Circuit de Catalunya on Saturday, but there are suggestions that differing fuel strategies have played a role in the formation of the top grid placings.

Referring to the Ferrari pair, McLaren-Mercedes' Norbert Haug said in an interview with the broadcaster RTL: "Felipe Massa did a super job, but it would surprise me if he is on the same strategy of Kimi Raikkonen."

McLaren's Hamilton, meanwhile, spent a lot of time at the top of the practice time sheets in Barcelona prior to the qualifying hour, but had to settle for fourth on the grid -- the last of the 'big two' quartet.

He told the British broadcaster ITV: "We had a slightly different strategy than Fernando at least. I think we're in good shape for tomorrow.

"If you work it out, I was just as quick, if not maybe quicker. But we will see."

Lewis seems pretty optimistic about tomorrow's race. Wonder what kind of strategy Lewis will display. Best of all both McLaren drivers are on a different strategy from each other.

Tomorrow's race gonne be hot!!

Here are some big words from a young lad,

Hamilton hints at strategy advantage

QUOTE
Lewis Hamilton believes he may hold a strategic card up his sleeve for the Spanish Grand Prix, even though he will line up only fourth on the grid.

Speaking to ITV-F1 pit reporter Louise Goodman immediately after qualifying, Hamilton all but confirmed that he was carrying more fuel than team-mate Fernando Alonso - saying this accounted for the 0.3s margin between them in Q3.

"We weren't able to get any further up than fourth - I'm getting used to that position now in qualifying," he said.

"But we had a slightly different strategy than Fernando at least, and I think we're in good shape for tomorrow.

"If you work it out, I was just as quick, if not maybe quicker. But we will see."

Hamilton admitted that McLaren had hoped to lock out the front row after dominating free practice at Barcelona.

But he said he wasn't surprised to find that Ferrari had been "sandbagging" and had always expected the Italian squad to show its colours in qualifying.

"Obviously we've been quickest for a lot of the weekend so far, so to not be 1-2 is a bit of a shame," he said.

"But I'm not surprised. [Ferrari] always seem to play games in practice and so you just pay no attention to it.

"They're going to be quick in qualifying, which they were, and Felipe did a fantastic job...so it's normal."

Mindful that overtaking is likely to be difficult even on the revised Circuit de Catalunya, Hamilton is looking for another of his demon starts to thrust him into contention.

"We'll keep pushing, I'm sure we've got a good strategy for tomorrow, and we're going to have to make sure we do a good job in the first corner again," he said.

Souce

From what i can see here, both teams are in a good start and their time gap isnt that much .. it should even be considered so small that even the slightest mistake will concede a takeover...

So i dont really think there is much of a difference in strategy. Alonso is definitely on a light car and so is Massa. Hamilton on the hand is in 3rd place and will have to contest with Raikkonen who is on a similar fuel load too.

Not yet. Still warming up lap.

Seems like Trulli has a problem with his car.. resulting in the extra warm up lap.

Hmm.. Hamilton was supposed to be at a heavier fuel load compared to Massa.. seems like the gap is rather constant at the moment...

Massa better make the gap as big as possible before pitting!

I totally agree with you. Alex was alright, he knew all the codes of the commands while the other person was just simply saying things and asking basic questions that i think even Alex felt annoyed with it tongue.gif

Massa still at 1st place with 2 stops and Hamilton, 2nd place, Alonso 3rd place... all with 2 stops.
