Hi, short question, because I've not been to this fitness and have no experience with them, always wanted to improve my main lifts, then I come across with this workshop, kind of want to give it a shot but the fee is quite steep for me (RM275) for 4 hours workshop.
Tried Google them but no reviews found so I'm here to listen to your opinion.
http://www.badgerfitness.net/hb-workshop/

Have been training for on and off on main lifts for roughly 10 months (4 months on > 6 months off > 6 months on till now)
Current lifts on 60kg body weight
Squat - 80kg x 5
Bench - 22.5kg x 5
Deads - 90kg x 5

My lift is still on beginner state, just 1 or 2 steps towards intermediate number.
So my question is anyone have experience with them? Is workshop necessary for beginner lifter? I've been watching Alan Thrall and a lot of other videos. My thought is video is still video, when application on the cues and technique is another case, I might be doing it wrong.

The closing date is near and they only take 12 people per workshop, I gotta decide it quick.

Fell it's useless & waste of money. Everybody's biomechanics are different.

E.g there are some bench workshop vids on youtube by pro powerlifters which asks people to "tuck in their elbows" which is trash advice for many people.

Also things like mark ripptoe's knees should not go pass toes during squat is also absolute bullshit. My knees go quite pass my toes when squating in optiomal position FOR ME.

Everyone's diff, follow the basics like not rounding your back during squats, and slowly you'll find your optimum technique after few years of practicing the lifts.

If you are just looking to improve your technique then you should absolutely go. Check the credentials of the coach first.

My coach was really good for Olympic lifting. Learnt a lot and had loads of fun too, although its only 2 sessions, i am now more flexible compared to my strict bodybuilding days.

Trial and error, make mistakes and learn from mistakes.

No need spend 275 for 4 hours workshop.

They will probably teach you what you can learn from the internet and or probably already know.

9 out of 10 courses I attended are teaching stuff I already know, I am there just for the cert.

Have you attended any fitness courses? Private and government?

Try to read between the line. I am not saying i know it all, what i mean is most fitness courses are really targeting the masses who knows shit and too lazy to do homework themselve.
