Should just put everything in the controller..
*
nah... you'll need at least 2 cables to it, power & hdmi, both connected to diff place
for me it's a big no no

if this thing sells well, I've no doubt soon there gonna be a mini SNES rclxm9.gif

As a reference for price, Steam Controller price is USD$50 but it is sold for RM400 by GamersHideout.

probably will end up at ~RM500 because Nintendo will prioritize US market 1st.

Extra controller will be RM70 if we look at Amiibo's prices.
*
IMO, can't use GH's price as benchmark tongue.gif
they are known to be expensive tongue.gif

My price tolerance max will be RM350 from local seller, anything more than that I'll import it myself wink.gif

probably Amazon will be out of stock day one.
need to wait Kyo for further info.

is the controller wireless or wired? if wired, got options to make it wireless?
*
it seems will be wired only, but you can plug in your existing Wii controller pro pad, since they share the same type of connector
wired also give me another headache, my kids will be sitting to close the the TV! doh.gif

QUOTE(icp @ Jul 18 2016, 11:04 AM)
y only 30? i tot can put more like 100..
think of giving xmas present for my kids lol
*
guess it's the HW/ROM limitation judging from the price they are selling, but I'll bet within few days it hit the market, the hackers would have teared it apart for loading unofficial rom, just the matter of time wink.gif

It runs on USB power. Any 3 pin plug with USB output will do. Like iPhone charger
*
means I can plug in a power bank to power it up then? hmm.gif

now just need to find a long HDMI cable so my kids won't sit so near to the TV

Finding a long HDMI cable is an easy job thru online. Finding a local seller for the console, now that is a challenge. I think most of us here are considering buying it for ourselves rather than for the kids. It will be a collector's item. But my son loves to play Contra on android emulator (using 8Bitdo SNES30 bluetooth gamepad) but it doesn't have it on the NES Classic Mini  ranting.gif . How can Nintendo left out Contra and went for Super C instead? And so many classic games not included in even though with today's tech, it should not be a problem. Hope Nintendo will make Famicom version of it with more games included.
*
yeah, that's a bummer, prefer Contra >>>> Super C anytime

main user will be me the daddy of cos, just wanna use this as introduce to classic video games that their daddy played last time wink.gif

one thing for sure, they sure gonna complain it's sooooo hard!! laugh.gif

No I didn't. I couldn't find the link for the additional controller.
*
that's the reason I haven't place the pre-order from Amazon UK yet...
UK pound is at all time low now, good time to buy, but they only charge the CC in Nov, no idea if it will bounce back or not by then hmm.gif

waiting for 2 controller bundle first....

aiks... composite AV cable only? yellow&white? it gonna scale poorly on most of the big screen TV
can't imagine the ugliness on 4K TV doh.gif
some more it's made by the china company that made the poor genesis/MD revivial
fan of Sega I am, but this lackluster thing I won't buy

I have more faith in Ninty's QC

Anyway... 11street already have a pre-order for RM249, and extra controller for RM49

IMO, a very good deal, as the USD60 directly convert to RM also around that price already

8 different games on each hmm.gif
Famicom exclusive
1. Mario Open Golf
2. Bumping Sumo
3. Final Fantasy III
4. Downtown Nekketsu Monogatari
5. Downtown Soreyuke Daiundoukai
6. Yie Ar Kung Fu
7. Atlantis no Nazo
8. Solomon's Key

Out of these 8 games, I think there's only 4, or 5 I'll touch, worth paying another RM186 just for these 5 games? hmm.gif

1 more week to go!!

it seems this "console" is actually more powerful than Wii or 3DS!

SoC: Allwinner R16 (4x Cortex A7, Mali400MP2 GPU)
RAM: Hynix (256MB DDR3)
Flash: Spansion 512MB NAND
PMU: AXP223

just the matter of time before anyone come out with a mod kit to play other games on it

Anybody received text message from Magnetic Business Deals Sdn Bhd asking for additional cash due to currency fluctuation for NES Classic Edition?
*
where you pre-order from?
I ordered mine from 11street's Game Hypermart, didn't get any request for extra cash

if you ordered from those online shopping sites like Lazada, or 11street, the seller aren't suppose to increase price after they put it up
if they asked you directly for extra cash, it's a direct violation of the T&C of sites, which will incur heavy penalty to them by those sites
likewise if they cancel your order from their side, also will get penalty, most they'll just contact you to pay more or ask you to cancel your order from your side, which is what they are doing now.

IMO, you shouldn't pay the extra amount, currency fluctuation is plain BS, few months ago the USD exchange rate is already pretty high. Tell them they should honor the published price, do that or you'll report this to the online shopping site they used.

good to hear that, mind sharing which seller you bought from Lazada?
need to avoid them in the future

pre-order means the shops should honor the price set during pre-order
not asking for more later on no matter what's their reason

those shops should be blacklisted forever

Gamer's Hideout is asking for additional RM100 for the console and additional RM20 for the controller so the total package is RM349 + RM69 = 418 mega_shok.gif
*
insist them that they should honor the pre-order price
else what's the point of pre-order??
